I'm seeing a lot of comments being critical about today's video as I'm playing as the Soviet Union.
I fully support Ukraine, this is a game set many years before todays conflict and was live streamed before the invasion began.
Again, this video is not meant to cause any offense to anyone, this is set in the 1940's and is a videogame. I do not support Russia and their invasion of a sovereign nation.
My heart goes out to everyone affected by the current disgusting invasion of Ukraine. They have my full support. Glory to Ukraine.

I think Vlad isn’t used to nsb dlc. He clearly forgot about the new supply system. Also he clearly needs to to buy more fuel als his tanks are out of it.

To all those people whining and moaning - it's a game. It has nothing to do with what is happening in real life at the moment. There isn't any hidden political agenda in this video, it's just Alex playing the game for fun and for us viewers to enjoy watching (mostly enjoy watching him suffer and die inside because the vast majority of us glut themselves on Alex's misery LOL). This place, in my opinion, should he a safe haven from what is happening in the real world. A place that has nothing to do with politics. A place where you can just come home tired from work and enjoy some content completely unrelated to what's happening around us. There's dedicated channels that cover war, but leave entertainment channels such as this away from it.
Like I've said before if they really cared that much they would be volunteering to fight for ukraine, but we all know they scared so they sit behind a computer and get mad at a guy that plays videos games

Instead of being chair warriors and sending their thoughts and prayers that contribute nothing really other than moral support, they can enlist because their army is taking in volunteers instead of swinging how immoral and unethical it is to do some things. By that logic, I shouldn't even smile or be happy anymore because people are dying in a war. Not saying that it isn't tragic, but there are channels and there is time reserved for that lest we all drown ourselves in perpetual misery and despair over things most of us can't control.

My usual MO is Infantry with Artillery as the front line fighters with Medium Tanks with Motorized as backup/breakthrough forces supported with CAS
It’s not the most optimized way of doing it but it works well enough for me
since NSB (which is funny because no step back being shortened to NSB is also the shorthand for the dutch former fascist party) I rarely do tanks :(
I usually don't bother with Tanks in general as the Soviets. Infantry, Artillery, AA, and an Airforce will see you through. Not completely giving up the Air War like most soviet players do does a lot more for you than having Tanks I find.

Whenever I go German Empire I go medium tanks down to Modern Tanks, I think that changing ideology makes you much weaker, if I'm wrong then tell me, I'm still quite new to the game
It depends. If you need a civil war to flip ideology then it will make you weaker because you lose a large part of your army to the enemy (among other more specific things). However, for nations like Britain where you can flip ideology without a civil war it doesn't really make a difference and could make you even stronger. Germany its not to bad because the civil war is usually pretty quick but flipping for Soviets just isn't worth it because it takes quite a while and the benefits don't really outweigh the cost of losing that year or so you could've spent building up.
Yeah civil wars set you back on industrial build up but that adds to the challenge

If you want to properly truck to Moscow, you should drive along the railroad. This allows you to get use of the enemy supply hubs after the tracks have been refitted. :)
The tanks I use are medium tanks and then modern tanks, but I'm confused about the new tank design system that was added in No Step Back. What is the new meta for medium tanks? What should I put on them? I only know to use three person turret, sloped armour and gasoline engine. What else should I use? Is 20 and 40 still the meta combat width? I hear 10 combat width is the new meta with the new supply system.
The new combat width that is optimal is around the 20s and for most terrains that arent most of europe tanks are dogshit make 9/3 with artillery and AA
