Nice sir been waiting for this from you! I was at the 2nd day of Legions hoping to grab him but failed. I got super lucky waiting on the line for the Walter 2 pack and an awesome couple offered to sell me one they picked up the day before as they had muiples so got the only figure I wanted in the end 😀
Bill, I do agree the blood paint apps of the first is deep and visceral.. I do like the different orc parts and the new spear of the phalanx based armor. Being able to swap and keep the unbroken aesthetic would of been ideal. The exclusive head screams demonic consumption. Wicked review ✌️
Very cool figure. Can't wait for mine to arrive! I plan on putting the vampire head from the head pack on this and keeping my original Vorgus as the Blood Knight.
Another excellent review Good Sir. I think a swap of parts between the two Vorgus armors could yield some cool looks, never know unless ya try. I like the idea that Gorgo has many suits of armor fabricated so he always has them ready so that no portion is damaged or weakened before battle. His armor is made so well, so strong that only they can withstand the magical curse of the Blood Armor. That is why the armor resembles Gorgo’s, it’s actually his armor but unbeknownst to him several suits were taken & became the (blood) vessel for Vorgus Vermillius !!
The paint job on Vorgus 2.0 is great; but the All Star Vorgus' blood colored paint just pops. I have the All Star and it's been one of my favorite Mythic Legions. I'm so glad I was able to get the Legionscon Vorgus for my collection. That translucent head is very cool. I'm still going grab a few of the general release next year. Those were some cool pop and swap ideas. Also, I might finally try to paint a Legions figure. I really want a Vorgus 2.0 with the All Star blood red.
Thanks Bill, great review! I dont love that armor, I think its a cool colorway but having the Gorgo 2 which is like 70% the same kinda turned me off, HOWEVER those pop and swaps are crazy! I love that second one, that is probably enough for me to pick up the standard one when they go on sale.
In this case I like V2 sculp more but the original V1 paint which is what I liked the most still looks so awesome. So now I have Vorgus but still missing Vorgus.
This figure is so badass! I have one on the way from a fellow collector; he picked an extra at the con. I'm going to LegionsCon 2024 by the way......when I look at this figure I can't help but to hear Slayer's Raining Blood song.
Great review man! I haven't opened him yet. Been doing a figure every other day to stretch out the LegionsCon pickups/fun. I like this V2 figure over the original release, though I do like the paint color a little bit more on the OG release. I like this armor set better and you can't beat the wired soft goods. The 3 heads is also a huge plus. Anyways, enjoyed man. MTFBWY 🤘
I had the wire popping on my Masque of the red Death too, agree that it would be nice if the 4HS could go with a slightly heavier gauge of wire, though I wonder what impact that might have on costs.
Love this figure and since I don't have a Gorgo I definitely think I need it as a fine addition to my collection. As someone who couldn't make it to legions con when is the online in stock sale for these guys? I want to try and get the exclusive head
Looking forward to getting the regular release next year. The exclusive head is great but not the sort of thing I feel the need to go after specially, an ideal exclusive in other words! Nice extra for those that could get it, doesn't leave the rest of us lacking.
Getting back into collecting mythic legions last ones I got were the unknown one and the furious four figures, just copped this guy and Arethyr on eBay so pumped to receive them both!, just curious with his cape did you just kind of rest it under the pauldrons or is it hooked into the actual peg of the pauldrons?
I think the standard way to do it is to loop it around the pauldron pegs and then plug the pauldrons in. But I removed the arms, looped it around the arm peg, and then plugged the arms back in.
The wire keep the wires are small, so you really can’t get too many poses from it and it just looks ridiculous. It looks like a freaking glove action figure looks great though. I got mine yesterday but that cape is terrible.
Oh my! That last pop and swap with Belphagorr is freakin' sweet!
Thanks, I'm glad you like it!

That's awesome! LegionsCon is such a friendly con with people helping each other out.
Yoooo that belphagor kitbash is phenomenal. Hes going on the shelf that way
Nice! Yeah I really like how that came out.
Great review!
Thanks brother!

😨The Vampire Knight is almost like Dracula..😱🦇🦇🦇
Those pop n swap look great. I can’t wait for mine to come in
Thank you! Enjoy your Vorgus, I'm loving all these V2 releases.
beautiful figure. Hoping to get it next year. Great Review
Thank you!

I think their concern is the looks more so than any minor cost increases from thicker wire.

The exclusive set went up for sale a couple days ago and sold out. The standard release will be early 2024.
Great video! Now we know this armor is dangerous in our real world aswell
Vorgus the Impaler

I agree, it's a small part of the figure, perfect for an exclusive.
I have 2 Belphegorrs and 2 Vorgus I'm doing this swap right now!!!!!

I wish the wires were heavier gauge.
