No paint went in the tank,there is a flapper valve you need to push with the gas pump pistol tip itself to allow gas (or paint) to flow in. It's an emission device not allowing gas fumes and liquid gas to escape.

Also, correct if i'm wrong, i'm not a chemistry or engineer, but i don't think paint is flammable enough to make a proper combustion on the engine to even make it move or overheat.

The paint didn't get into the fuel tank as the the passage leading to the fuel compartment needs to be unlocked by a special nozzle (the same kind used in gas stations).

That isnt the problem. The problem is that there is a stopper half way into the tank that stops exactly this from happening without a nozzle to push it open. Its why Gas pumps have that nozzle. Same with jerry cans.
