Yup! That's pretty much why we started the channel, share music we love and listen to music others do to! We both have been in our own music bubble for a long time and have come across some amazing new music 🖤
try wearing both earbuds so you can hear the full mix of the song, songs can lose their impact if you are only listening out of 1 ear, its not how it's meant to be listened to, might not change weather you like it or not. but u never know.
ADTR isnt typical metalcore, its more on the lighter, pop-punk side of metalcore. Is fun to listen to, you can sing along at parties, and they dont take themselves too seriously. Metalcore is a mix of metal and hardcore punk (basically shit was made because dad was in the basement blasting Black Sabbath and big brother was in the attic blasting Hatebreed, leaving little brother to get a genre pumped in each ear). If you are looking for a better example of hardcore, something like "Composure" by August Burns Red (ua-cam.com/video/-nl_ttX031Y/v-deo.html) might be more to your liking. Its more metal and less clean vocals. Also the drummer is a machine.
I agreed what you said, sometimes it's hard to accept new stuff but the fact you want to learn more about it is what people nowaday don't have

Wide stance! Lol this was part the crabcore era!😆🤘🏼
If you like heavier songs, they have a song called ''2nd sucks'' and it's most likely their heaviest
