- Russian president Vladimir Putin showed Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi his presidential residence in Novo-Ogaryovo near Moscow on Monday July 8 and the pair watched a horse-riding display featuring the two countries' national flags. Modi arrived in Moscow for a two-day state visit and held informal talks with Putin earlier on Monday. A top Indian official said last week that fixing India's trade imbalance with Russia and securing the discharge of Indian citizens who were misled into fighting in the Ukrainian conflict would be among Modi's top priorities in Moscow. #moscow #modi #putin
