I'm aware I got some information wrong about Super Mario Bros. Special. The game isn't a port and is an original Mario game developed for PC. It added in new items, enemies, and new stages into the game. My bad I just saw low res Super Mario Bros visuals and assumed it was a port. Admittedly when you script out 30 different entries for Mario games the research slips here and there. Much Love -Gambado

One game that I hope you can maybe include as a bonus in the last video (since I didn't see it in the iceberg) is New Super Mario Bros Wii Coin World. It's another slot machine from what I've seen but it's probably even more obscure than most of those as I never see people talking about it.
I'm adding a few games onto the end of the iceberg for the next video so I'll add this one to the list, sounds pretty interesting, thanks for the suggestion!
"Super Donkey" is weird because it seems to contradict a common story you often hear about SMW2's art style. I had always heard the somewhat crude "hand-drawn" style was just thrown together quickly, as a placeholder for DKC style pre-rendered sprites, but then someone at Nintendo "liked it so much" it stayed. But Super Donkey makes it seem like that art style was always intentional, and just carried over to the Mario game that was made using its engine.

Mario Kart Super Circuit/Advance and Mario Kart XXL are actually completely separate games, I'm pretty sure Mario Kart XXL was also done years after Super Circuit released

IIRC Mario Kart XXL was actually developed AFTER Mario Kart Super Circuit and was meant to be pitched as a potential sequel to it. Obviously it went nowhere.
Fun fact: The Mario Bros advertisement game is actually called "The Return of the Mario Bros." in English Mario and Luigi never left where tf did they go
The cdi actually isnt even a console. It was meant for vcds (video compact disc), a proto dvd that flopped hard (Even CED was more sucessful). There was basic interactivity for some games likevthe art gallery, but the CDI wasnt made with games in mind. Its why every game for it is absolutely dreadful
