The best parts of Detroit were improvised by Clancy Brown (Hank) and Bryan Dechart (Connor). Quantic Dream games would be a hundred times better if David Cage wasn't writing them. His writing is all ham-handed metaphors and unsatisfying resolutions.
Going slightly against public opinion I love Quantic Dream games. I grew up reading choose your own adventure books and these games for me represent an evolution of those experiences.

What Aiden can and can't do (and when) has no logic about it. Finally, he ends the game with an "in memory of" sentiment toward a couple real people that he says are "watching me from the infraworld" - David Cage's own pretentious nonsense is apparently a real afterlife in his view.
Why him? I'm not saying that I make bad games, but their games are like movies, which is almost the opposite of the interaction that videogames want to achieve. Asking him for advice is like asking a movie director for advice to do videogames.
With how many haters try to turn his games into comedies, I’d love to see David actually make a comedic game and see what happens. He already gave us a taste with The Dark Sorcerer Tech Demo.

Love Quantic Dream games ! Heavy handed stories to say the least.. but just loved Detroit .. would love to see a horror game .. Love the look and story of DETROIT though.. took me awhile to get the hang of a quick time story based game.. Until Dawn is the one that got me into them .. heavy rain was fun as hell.. and the BAD acting is what made that game so fun to me..
