This is amazing, I have been looking at tool hangers for months now but some how and thought I have seen every design, but I just discovered you, I have been looking for a fast tool hanger that works on voron trident style printers. I will definitely be building one for my e3ng
Is this printer using the octopus pro mainboard that you showed off in a previous video? If so how did you manage to get 5 toolheads even tho the mainboard only supports 4 heater cartridges?
yes its running on octopus pro 1.1. all toolheads are wired to the btt ceb (canbus expansion board). its running can from mcu to the ceb. the toolheads themselves are on btt ebb36. you can use wagos instead of ceb also
my vzbot has the triple z conversion. the rear z motor belt takes up a bit of space in the middle. if i use the rear extrusion for the docks, i can only fit 4 toolheads max. having a separate extrusion for the docks allows me to have 6 toolheads max.
