A weird game where each level you have to race the villain to their hideout before they do so you can fight and arrest them
Early on the game forces you to do the time trails and collecting robot parts to get more medals to play the later levels but I don't do it for every level because it was really annoying

Each time I hear Patrick Warburton voice Buzz Lightyear in this game, I always picture it being Joe Swanson (from Family Guy) in Buzz Lightyear's space outfit.

I remember this Buzz Lightyear of Star Command game when it was first released in the year 2000 and it was based on the ABC’s and Disney’s & Pixar’s TV series. Over 2 decades later when I got this game for the Sega Dreamcast on eBay, it was a childhood masterpiece! It will take me a very long time to beat this game and defeat Emperor Zurg at the very end. Anyone remembered watching Buzz Lightyear of Star Command on ABC from the year 2000?

Great cartoon back on ABC, when Saturday mornings were still a thing. The Playstation version, or even this version, gets a lot of hate usually. But I loved it back in the day.

@@PolitoKBJuegos because it gives us a reason to look at obscure games in preparation for a new movie.
Plus two, this game is nowhere near as well-known as Toy Story 2 Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue, and it deserves more attention. Sure, it's linear compared to BLTTR, and the bombs you have to destroy in the levels can be a pain, but it has funny voice acting courtesy of Patrick "Joe" Warburton, Bobcat Goldthwait, Stephen Furst, and Adam Corolla, and some cool weapons to mess around with, as well as some cool vehicles like a hoverbike. It's basically a precursor to Ratchet & Clank.

I had this game on PS1 back in 2002-2003. It wasn't until the 2010's where I emulated the Dreamcast version of the game and saw how much better it looked. (HD emulator settings aside)
