I'm excited to see what they develop, and to see the new types of apps that are optimized specifically for the glasses, as each device has best practices on how to implement an app.
This technology is crap. There are a lot of problems that can't be solved. Why peoples put crazy amount of money to develop something like that rather than make some crazy efficient battery or new way of power up their devices?
I have had an iPad for a few years and would never use windows . Once you get Apple you just love them . I’m hoping to see if I can get Apple glasses when they are out . Until then keep saving to upgrade my iPad or purchase an Apple pro . Simply the best.
One thing I hope is part of this is a "pro" refresh rate. It would be really nice if the displays could be at 120 htz to make the consistency between "real" and "ar" more seamless. Other than that, If Apple does come out with this, assuming it was good, I would definitely switch to an iphone even as a longtime Android fan.

Apple's design skills are topnotch. So I believe they will be the best looking of the AR glasses being released. But while waiting for Apple's Glass offerings my interim pick will be the nreal air. It works with the Steam Deck as well as iPhone and iPads, and they look pretty good too.
Vuzix, INMO and Xiaomi are also other candidates in the big AR Glasses race. I will definatly follow the upcoming models of each company and decide which one fits the best to me and my needs any my wallet.
I can't believe that thing is actually planned. I hope apple won't mess it up. Im not really interested in getting one, however its quite exciting tech! I want to switch soon from android to apple, I'll probably get the iPhone 15 PM next year. Maybe also a macbook air for my studies

Beyond that anything towards gaming (not likely) and I'm always looking out for new support tech for working from home. The computers are solid right now and I'm only really in the market for maybe an air for the super portability or for my wife to use.
I would like to get them, but I would probably wait a few years after their release. We don’t know if the glasses might damage your eyesight, especially since we would probably be wearing them a good chunk of the day. It would probably be safer to wait a couple years after their release, since by then Apple would have hopefully perfected them.
hello Matt! great work on your videos, i always find myself looking forward to a new one every time. congratulations on 450k subscribers too, you fully deserve it, this channel is amazing. unfortunately i don’t think i’ll be able to get any new apple products this year due to financial issues. regardless, i am keeping up with the new updates as they come, and i must say i am really excited for ALL of them, from the new macbooks to the iphone 14 pro max. i am basically loving all apple has to offer right now. specifically, i would love to get the new macbook pro - i am an art director (designer) and i use a lot of design tools on my 2020 macbook pro, which hangs sometimes when i am simultaneously working on different projects and tools (indesign, illustrator, figma etc). i know for a fact, that this will be a big upgrade for me. btw, i still use a 1st generation iphone se, which is funny cos i am definitely under the “due for an upgrade” category haha. i am definitely looking forward to getting an upgrade as soon as i can. thanks for this and keep up the good work you do with your videos, cheers.
AR/VR glass is interesting, but so many tried but fizzled. But I'm interested to buy one if it gets implemented correctly and support the metaverse. For example, I would buy one if it is integrated to realtime GPS for driving and double down as a sun glasses (w/ UV protection).

I'm only interested in the AR glasses from an accessibility pov. I'm deaf in one ear and mild loss in the other, so would be nice to have transcribing, and if there's mics on the front and back then some kind of visualise audio direction for certain / loud noises.

You can augment the glass to your specified prescription, supposedly.
That does sound like a feature Apple would spearhead.
