Yeh amazing right! Many parts of the upper Noosa river are deep like this. I find it fascinating to discover these and other things on the bottom. Lots of Tarpon up there. I wonder if Barramundi are up there too, lots to feed on…
Hi, You mentioned in another post on yippykiyay mfs you have an alb 720. Are you happy with it, do you take it off shore and how does it handle swell and chop? Thanks J
Hey Johnny, It’s awesome. I take it out into Laguna Bay across Noosa bar with full confidence. Handles chop very nicely. Easy to handle on my own. My one is a minimalist tiller steer.
@@riveRecon thanks for your reply. If you have 15 minutes to spare it would be great to chat to you about it. My number is 0429705713. I am going to order one next week. Thanks John
Bass, Tarpon, Catfish, eel have been my catches. I’ve been told also bream, Trevally and mangrove Jack when the salt water gets up there a little. It’s a really quiet part of the river so worth it if you want to get away from the crowds.
Wow the depth variations in such a narrow creek are mental. 3-9m is amazing. I'll have to give it a crack up there some time.

@@riveRecon Yeah I've seen a few caught up there.
@@saltyoutdoors534 maybe we should take the boats on a mission up there together and you can teach me how to fish!
@@riveRecon Yeah righto, the next time I'll be at noosa will be in a month or two, so we can arrange something then.
@@riveRecon Hey mate, how can I contact you?
