Ahh everyone always comments on that concealer saying its unhygienic because of the sponge, but isn't it exactly the same concept as a standard doe-foot applicator where it goes straight onto your skin then back into the tube?! Haha anyway the natural lighting was really nice in this video would be great if all make up videos were like this!
I thought I was the only one that thought this argument was weird! It is the same thing! I always wipe my applicator off on a makeup wipe, think that helps a little!
Love the look of the video with natural light! I much prefer it to the usual look which can end up looking yellow in my opinion. But I understand, natural light is unpredictable and not reliable always. However, when it's possible I definitely think it's worth it!
I love chatty videos like this so much more than really edited tutorials with a voiceover! (But I love your really creative and highly edited videos too. Ya need a good mix!)
I loved this makeup look, but I would like if you do a close up of your eyes so I can actually see what the colors and the eyeliner looked . something to think about
The natural lighting is perfect, I feel like I can see the real colour of the products. And the look is very pretty, it suits you. I am much paler and I think the lipstick would wash me out and I would look dead, but the eyes are very pretty :)
I haven't watched a tutorial for a really long time but this one caught my attention! Love the lilac tones and am now inspired to raid my eyeshadow palettes for a similar shade. ☺
I like this look a lot! I often put my dark pinky, more toward mauve, blush on my lids and cheeks. I'm a medium reddish, yellow brown and it's a nice contrast on my skin. I like to use cobalt, and dark grey and plum eyeliners because they bring out the various shades of brown in my eyes. I think my go to is similar, but for a darker woman.
Such a beautiful look! I've been wearing MDMflow lipstick in bossy. It is a semi-matte formula that doesn't dry out my lips and is a light pink with some subtle hints of a grayish lilac.
I love this kind of video Lily! I think it would be really cool if you did a first impressions make up tutorial. Maybe even a one brand version with the new coco codes spring launch from Chanel! I know you already talked about it in your last video but I would still be interested to see your thoughts and how they apply.
Have you tried wiping the surface of the bronzer with a kitchen towel to remove build up of hardened oil? I did that to my Tarte exposed blush the other day, works so much better now! Awesome video!
have you ever tried the H&M Makeup line? Their Blushes are great. My favourite shade is Cameo Pink which is a pale mauvy pink. Looks gorgeous on medium olive complexion!
Propolis (in the Pixi Glow Mist) is a bee product :) It's a kind of resin that has all sorts of good ingredients. You can even put it in your muesli bowl or something and eat it - it doesn't taste bad and is like a superfood.
on my lips, bond girl from charlotte tilbury is the most similar color to what you are looking for, just a hint darker, and i'm so obsessed with it at the moment!
Lovely look. I think it'll be really nice for autumn, which is the next season for us here in Australia. I'll certainly give it a shot once the weather cools down and I'm reaching for cosy jumpers and scarves.
I have the Himila in the same Nars shadow line and LOVE it. I wear glasses so putting on detailed eye makeup without glasses is a real test. This is a great "sweep on" and go. I had the Nars gal at the Galleries Lafayette at the Nars counter in Paris suggest this when purchased the iconic orgasm blush and it was perfect. Just a quick go to color!
Lily I loved this look on you and the natural light of this video! Feeling inspired to try to recreate the look myself, and also tempted to buy that eyeshadow shade haha. I could never resist Nars to begin with :)
Big fan of the natural lighting! I love the Maybelline age rewind concealer, but I wish they had a better shade range in the UK. I managed to pick up one in the shade medium from Canada, but I'll be sad when it finishes and I can't repurchase! Love the look, very chic and wearable.
Hi Lily, another couple of lipsticks very similar are Urban Decay 'oblivion' and nyx lip lingerie in corset, unfortunately they are both matte,i think thats just the look at the moment,i was jotting down all of these products and now want to go shopping xx
I love this look! I don't have that eyeshadow but there are some similar-toned shades in the UD Naked 3 palette - I might try and recreate this tomorrow!
You should try the RMS living luminizer! I've been using it for about 8 months now and it's such a pretty highlighter. It's not that shimmery and gives a nice natural glow
A lil feedback - i don't think that many of us care about the background; i defo don't :) The natural lighting makes it way more true to life, and you're the focus of the video anyway! LOVE this look Lily. x
Totally love this look, that NARS eyeshadow is gorgeous on you :) I wish I had a recommendation for the lipstick but I can't think of one, will get back to you on Twitter if anything comes up!
Love this look, I am thinking of picking up that Nars Kari shade for more than a year, but I tell myself that I don't need any more eyeshadow, eyeshadows and blushes are my weakness. Now the temptation to buy that shade is real ;) (really want to recreate this look with other products in my collection except Kari for the eyes) I also think that Mac liptensity lipstick in "driftwood" is a good shade match for that Stilla shade. And the formula of these liptensity lipsticks is like a satin.
I use L'Oréal color riches lipstick in 233 which looks very similar to the Stila one you have used but it's much more moisturising, I love it, and affordable!
Ahh everyone always comments on that concealer saying its unhygienic because of the sponge, but isn't it exactly the same concept as a standard doe-foot applicator where it goes straight onto your skin then back into the tube?! Amy Johnston I think people just realise more with this sponge as you can actually see it, and how disgusting the packaging looks.
Amy Johnston if you pull off the sponge you can wash it and then put it back on. That's what I do ☺️
Love the look of the video with natural light! I much prefer it to the usual look which can end up looking yellow in my opinion. But I understand, natural light is unpredictable and not reliable always. However, when it's possible I definitely think it's worth it!
you should try a kaki green eyeshadow I'm sure it would look stunning on you!
xx
Nadia G. yas!!
Nars has a beautiful green in the same formula and I think the shade is "safe" enough for Lily. I love it, and like her, I like subtle color.
This look is a stunner!! And the natural lighting is perfect :)
YES, the lighting is preferred! 🙌🏽
I love chatty videos like this so much more than really edited tutorials with a voiceover! (But I love your really creative and highly edited videos too. Ya need a good mix!)
Love that shade of pink, it's gorgeous! Definitely a fan of the natural light as well.
I think Mac's liptensity lipstick in the shade driftwood might be similar to the one you're wearing!
I love the natural light! Feels like I can really see the makeup
This is probably my favourite look on you! Super natural but beautifying xx
I loved this makeup look, but I would like if you do a close up of your eyes so I can actually see what the colors and the eyeliner looked . something to think about
this is beautiful! Such a soft, pretty look!
LOVE this! You're so right - pinky purple tones can be really hard to get right but when done well they look so pretty! LOVE this look!
Beautiful look Lily, the blush colours really suit your brown eyes and hair! xx
Loving the video in the natural light, I feel like it makes your make up look fresher and the tones look lighter and more glowy ✨ x
I love this look! Pinkish colors on the eyes can be challenging but this one is just right!
This is such a pretty look, purple is such a flattering color on your eyes!
I love the pixi mist as a setting spray and it gives a lovely subtle glow to the skin
I love chatty casual videos where you just talk xx
Calling it-favorite look I've ever seen on you! 🌸
Absolutely loooove the Nars eyeshadow! It's gorgeous!
Love this look! x
I love that eyeshadow! I wore it when I was a bridesmaid for my mums wedding last year 💛
I love this look! It is subtle with a twist and can easily be transformed into a night look. Thanks for the vid!
...I missed your makeup tutorial Lily!
A big kiss from Italy! ❤

This video deserves way more views!
This lighting is so much better! X
Beautiful! Natural daylight looks just as good as studio lights. Xxx 😍
loved the natural light so much better!
Loved this video! Great light and a gorgeous look! Well done xx
Thumbs up for natural light!!!
The natural lighting is perfect, I feel like I can see the real colour of the products. And the look is very pretty, it suits you. I am much paler and I think the lipstick would wash me out and I would look dead, but the eyes are very pretty :)
Love this eyeshadow 💗 you look springlike but elegant same time
And these colors flatter your eyes and hair. Very pretty.
I haven't watched a tutorial for a really long time but this one caught my attention! Love the lilac tones and am now inspired to raid my eyeshadow palettes for a similar shade. ☺
I love it. It's very Autumnal and I know it's coming into Spring but I love it.
yes love the natural lighting! x
this look and this lighting is AMAZING!! xx
Yasss! I bought Kari back in December when you mentioned it and have been waiting for this video ever since! So pretty!
You look so nice in this makeup. I love the eyeshadow colour and think it suits you really well. x
Try MAC Syrup lipstick, formula is non drying really creamy and the shade is a lilac/pink colour - I think it would look lovely on you x

I love it. This look is one of my favourite ever
Such a beautiful look! I've been wearing MDMflow lipstick in bossy. It is a semi-matte formula that doesn't dry out my lips and is a light pink with some subtle hints of a grayish lilac.

I really like this slightly cool toned look! Very pretty! x
I love this look on you, Lily ! Really have to try this myself ☺💕
I really love this look. Thank you for sharing Lily!
have you ever tried the H&M Makeup line? Their Blushes are great. My favourite shade is Cameo Pink which is a pale mauvy pink. Looks gorgeous on medium olive complexion!

Oh my god!! Such a great video!! Continue the great work, can't wait to watch you grow!
I love the blush and lipstick shade!

Make up looks really nice! Thanks for sharing with us.
Lily! MAC Really Me is the perfect dupe for this lipstick!! Hope that helps x
Lovely look. I think it'll be really nice for autumn, which is the next season for us here in Australia. I'll certainly give it a shot once the weather cools down and I'm reaching for cosy jumpers and scarves.

i just got to your channel and I love how minimalistic you are! 💕
your skin looks amazing
i need that eyeshadow! thank you, lily! 💜
I love that you always put What you are wearing in the description box, Im always asking for your nail polish😂
Propolis is what the bees use to protect the queen in the hive. It's fabulous for calming skin..x
Hope you are having a lovely holiday!!!
i loved this!! also, the eyeshadow looks really nice with your eyes, and our eye colour is pretty similar so im definitely giving this a go xx
Lily I loved this look on you and the natural light of this video! Feeling inspired to try to recreate the look myself, and also tempted to buy that eyeshadow shade haha. I could never resist Nars to begin with :)

I just got the eyeshadow today before your video and love it. I think I'm going to use it with nars rosecliff, it's a greyish nude lipstick.
Hi Lily, another couple of lipsticks very similar are Urban Decay 'oblivion' and nyx lip lingerie in corset, unfortunately they are both matte,i think thats just the look at the moment,i was jotting down all of these products and now want to go shopping xx
Always the best Lily!!!
Hi Lily, you might like to try MAC eye pencile in prunella, I think it would look realy nice with this make up x

I love this look! I don't have that eyeshadow but there are some similar-toned shades in the UD Naked 3 palette - I might try and recreate this tomorrow!
Gorgeous, Lily!
Loved this makeup look ❤
I think this looks great lily!
MAC Syrup is quite similar but a much more creamy formula x I loved this video!
Try Mac "midmauve" lipstick, it's a lustre. 👍
You should try the RMS living luminizer! I've been using it for about 8 months now and it's such a pretty highlighter. It's not that shimmery and gives a nice natural glow
love this look so much!! 💞
really like this look and the natural light :) hope you are enjoying your honeymoon!
A lil feedback - i don't think that many of us care about the background; i defo don't :) The natural lighting makes it way more true to life, and you're the focus of the video anyway! LOVE this look Lily. x
Very pretty look, it suits you really well!
Wow I love this makeup look, you look lovely!! X
For a lipstick color dupe, maybe try Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in Violate.
Try Urban decay oblivion! It's still matte but really comfy to wear, my current fave☺️
Love this look Lilly, one of my favs on you. I have just gone out and bought that stila lipstick on your recommendation and really like it thanks
OMGness just found you...enjoy your natural makeup look videos
I use L'Oréal color riches lipstick in 233 which looks very similar to the Stila one you have used but it's much more moisturising, I love it, and affordable!
You look really great in pink tones :)
Prunella eye kohl from MAC would be perfect with this look!
love the eraser concealer.... I have attempted to wash the sponge applicator.... didn't work out so well!
I have heard a lot of people saying they just rip it off and use it without the sponge tip.
Lorraine Sands ... hmm mm might just give it a try 😀
