    FYI, there is a slot under the front chassis brace for the ESC cable to run through. 😉
    Nice trick with the Blu-Tack, not something I've seen before. How well does that hold up over time? I use double sided tape for my receivers, but using Bul-Tack to seal the box is pretty clever.
    Nice video and well explained and edited. Job well done. You got a sub from me. 😎👍

      Thank you for stopping by vas👍🙂 thx for the tip. I will take a look at the slot for the esc wire👍 I do normally use double sided tape to stick the reciever down as well but was being lazy and thought the blue tack would prob do the job. I've used this blue tack method to seal the box for a few months now on my Kronos... I was desperate to find a way to wash my rig and not destroy the reciever... had to look for a way to seal the box but not make it permanent. It's work well so far.... only time will tell mate. FYI give my wing mod a try.... I noticed you broke yours on your last bash 👍👍

      @@inspiredrcyeah, I'll give it go for sure. I like that you used washers on the screws, too. Should help spread the load and hopefully won't break as mine did. Good luck on the maiden run, I'm sure you'll enjoy this truck, it's heavier than the Kronos, but very durable.
      Also, keep an eye on temps... 😉

      @AussieRCPlayground thx buddy. It could do with a heatsink and fan on the motor. I will keep an eye on them temps👍👍after seeing you bash yours i can't wait to get it out now 🙂🙂

    Nice presentation, subscribed.
    As for some protection, i use plumbers tape for the nuts, and clear sticker protection for the "key" spots for the body to avoid too much scratches and breaking.

      Thx dude. Great idea for the wheel nuts! I may have some plumbers tape lying around. Will try it next time. Any kind of reinforcement for the body will prolong its life. Luckily, these bodies aren't expensive. I tend to shoe goo all my bodies and have done for a while. Seems to help a lot.

    Hey man, I recently got back into RC after 13 years, these mods are brilliant especially the blu-tac trick and oh how I do not miss the smell of shoe goo lol thanks so much for the tips in the video and I've got the servo ready in my watchlist for when my stock servo dies. Oh and the trick in your other video to sharpen a tip to create a venting tool is brilliant too, keep it up man! 👍😁

      Thank you. I'm really happy you found my tips useful. Unfortunately, I've had to take a short break from the hobby to fulfil other commitments. I do intend to be back at it soon. Hence why i haven't uploaded anything recently.
      I've got these servos in other cars and have been brilliant. I think 35kg is a perfect size for the 8th scale cars. I don't always have a lot to spend my cars, so I have to be clever sometimes in the upgrades I do. I found these are some of the best cheap mods to do on TC cars. I would definitely recommend doing the wing mod. It helps. If you get a chance, then give my kronos 1st bash video a watch. You can see how well my mods held up.
      Thank you again for your nice comment. I appreciate you stopping by 🙂👍

      @@inspiredrc oh hey thanks for replying, I wasn't expecting that haha I look forward to seeing more videos when you're back, I'm currently between this and another hobby right now but really enjoy catching up with what's changed over the years. I totally get what you mean about spending alot, I try to be economical with my money too, but either way I think everyone should be doing these simple tricks. You have no idea how much I scoured UA-cam for a video just like this, I hope your channel keeps growing man! I'll check out the wing mod, I'm currently looking at adding some ducts for airflow as a mini project but end goal is an FPV system in the asuga 😁 thanks again man 👍🏽

      @Shaktical_Airsoft Thanks, buddy! I make these vids to help the community, so I'm happy you found it. Fpv asuga would be awesome. Actually, the asuga was next on my purchase list. I love the size and ground clearance and think it would be an epic basher. I've never owned a buggy and From what I've seen online, a lot of people covert 8th scale biggies into truggies, which I don't see the point of. Why not get a truggie instead?
      The asuga is bigger and better than all the other buggies in the market. Hence why I want one for my collection.
      I wish you good luck with your build, and thank you again.🙂

    • @Shaktical_Airsoft
      @Shaktical_Airsoft Місяць тому +1

      @@inspiredrc im thinking an FPV asuga would be insane to drive, so far the thing handles so well off road it's suprising and given it's size it's super stable at high speeds, it just floats over terrain with just the stock setup, if you do get one I think a roller would be better for you since you could just install everything you want off the bat. Thanks man 😁

    Done the same with silicone grease for the receiver box, heavily resistant to any moisture ingress

      Excellent idea buddy. After losing a couple of recivers to water damage I had to come up with a temporary solution. Not had any issues after sealing the reciever box with blutac.

      Thx mate. With the amount of changes they made on kagama I just couldn't resist adding it to the fleet... not to mention the price! 🙃🙂 the Asuga is also on my wish list... the first buggy with enough ground clearance for me to be able to bash!

    Bought a roller to put a bunch of rtr stuff and a amazon servo in it? Makes sense.

    • @inspiredrc
      @inspiredrc  17 днів тому +1

      Unfortunately, my budget didn't allow me to get an rtr. But even if I could, I would have replaced the servo and controller anyway. I did that to my Kronos as well. I have this servo in all my 8th scales and am really happy with performance. Durability is good for the price.
      I'm not a professional rc driver, so AVC does also make the experience better.

      Why would I buy an rtr when I would replace the servo, reciever and controller straight away.... not to mention I had a corally motor and esc available to drop in.... I saved at least £200 by getting the roller.
