That's why I came here. For the price that the Skyward Sword port has it could have included Twilight princes as well. Kinda like The Mario galaxy/Sunshine/64 port.

Why I love Twilight princess: It's very long and it's fun, every temple has its own theme making it very unique, finally just because of how dark and majestic this quality Adventure is!

3.) You haven't watched one of the many comparison videos yet, which succeed in demonstrating that this remaster looks much better than the original in the textures and lighting departments
Exactly! I think this hd remake is tons different from the wii version that I played. I'll definitely buy it for that difference :)
+GameScape Actually its the fact that I have seen a Lets Play of this game and the guy playing it used an emulator which made the game look 10 times better so I really don't see the difference here.
I for one say this game looks "Bad"
1) No I'm not blind, I just see things you don't. Maybe? By today's standards the game's graphics look Aweful so is definitely not criminal to say it looks bad but I'll give this a pass on its looks because it's a remaster but what this game needed was a remake, but whatever this is a great game never the less.
2) Never needed one, but if wearing a glass meant this game got a graphics upgrade I'm down to wearing it until I've completed the game.
3) Yes I've watched most to all comparisons between the two versions of the game and I can say this version looks better. It's got better texture, higher resolution and modified lighting source. It definitely is better looking than the original. It still looks Bad.

And yes I understand that the wii u's hardware is severely lacking , I'm just saying that if this games only purpose is to look better, than it doesn't deserve my hard earned money.
+KobobMC this isn't a remake. The point of an HD Remaster is to up the resolution and change the textures around. They literally did all they had too, and also added new lighting and content. You're greedy if you're asking for more tbh

Breath of the wild is amazing and I have over 200 hours poured in it, but the Twilight Princess will always be my favourite, and having it portable would be just perfect. Please Nintendo port it on Switch!

The textures look nice and all, but I really wish they made everything look a lot less rigid. I know this used to be a GameCube game, but still, they could have did some work to polish up the models.
+alec desousa They actually refined the models as well. You can hardly expect a complete physics rework for a project like this though..
They can't do that. It would mess up the game's code. The animations were already done for the old models. If they were to change the polygon count, they would better remake the game. But they made it a remaster because: the game is very big (not like Majora's Mask and OoT, which are much smaller in size), the developer had the task to do it, a remake will cost much more money than a remaster and takes longer... I think we should be happy with what we get, because the big budget will never go on stunning remakes (at least in the case of some companies), but to new games, such as Smash 4 and Zelda U.

Interiors have seen a significant improvement to overall mesh quality. However, the engine is simply too old to take much more. With Wind Waker they were able to do a lot of fancy effects and lighting upgrades. But that's because of Wind Waker's style requiring comparatively little texture improvement and no mesh improvement, which freed up resources. Twilight Princess's dedication to a more realistic style means texture improvement are just significantly more important plus mesh improvements where resources allow. Personally, I think it's pretty solid work considering the age of the engine. This is a remaster, after all.

Idk what people were expecting, really... They made the game a whole lot less blurry, smoothed out many of the character models (strangely, though, Wolf Link still looks a bit rough), and added better lighting in some areas. Wind Waker HD was a REALLY nice treat, but that was a much easier game to fix as it was really unpolished to begin with. Not to mention how easy cel-shading is to work with.
+sillykola50 I'm puzzled as to why many people are critiquing the graphics anyway. This is a remake rather than a new game after all and Nintendo isn't exactly known for epic graphics. With what Microsoft and Sony charge overall, I'm kind of glad they aren't...
+mammotharmored _ (mc) Another good point here, but maybe it's just because I grew up with N64 and Gamecube. Not exactly the pinnacle of graphical beauty, but it worked. I prefer to play fun games than pretty games.

...? What? WW graphically has more polish than TP, yes, a lot of that comes down to art direction. All WWHD did was added bloom and upscale the textures with AI.
TPHD just upped in the internal resolution and Grezzo made all new textures. They're more or less the same level of effort lol.

I just remember getting Twilight Princess back in the Fifth grade and never being able to finish it.
I got this game recently, and I already beat it two times! Twilight Princess is one of my favorite Zeldas of all times, and it look amazing in HD! This game is filled with rich details all over, and everything comes to life in HD. Simply fantastic! Oh, and the Bundle edition is soo beautiful, specially the new Wolf Link Amiibo! Thank you Nintendo!

So stoked! Favourite Zelda game, and it looks so crisp and awesome in HD!
Twilight Princess was my first Zelda game and I can't tell you how many goosepimples I got while watching this and how much I can't wait for this.
I can see why people are expressing disappointment at the graphics of this HD remaster not being as good as they wanted them to be, but I feel that I must point out that when *Sony* ported a good chunk of their most noteworthy PS2 exclusives to the PS3 as part of their "Classics HD" line, they *barely* looked any better than the original PS2 releases with the *only* major differences being the addition of native widescreen support on games that didn't already have it and a higher rendering resolution. So the fact that Nintendo was able to improve the visuals on a game originally designed for the GameCube (which was *significantly* more graphically powerful than the PS2 mind you) as much as they did on hardware that is only *slightly* more powerful than the PS3 and Xbox 360 is actually quite an accomplishment.
I'm gonna guess the Top 3 of what the comments will talk (or whine) about.
1. The graphics
2. The confusion between remake and remaster
3. The price
4. Switch please comments

My dream is that nintendo a little more attention to your fans here in Brazil and move to make their games subtitled in Portuguese. Use its products since 1995 love zelda and unfortunately I can not throw it in my own language.

Thanks for taking all the time and effort to remaster this game ^_^ The Amiibos make it so much more exciting, and the Hero Mode is challenging too :D This master piece is such a beautiful game :) I don't care what other people say about it, this is my favorite game, and seeing it remastered warms my heart to play it over and over again :3 I'm definitely buying this with the Wolf Link Amiibo! :D Thanks once again, Nintendo!

Thank you so very much for remaking the very first Zelda game i ever played! (im born 2002) and since i completed Twilight Princess i felt that i needed to play more, so i asked my mother if there was any more Zelda games out there (i was 4 years old back then) and she told me that she had a working Nintendo Entertainment System with the original Zelda! And boy was i excited! When the game booted up I recognized the start menu sound track directly and i got really hyped to play it! And it was awesome!
Ever since i played Twilight Princess on my Wii, i've been willing to play every Zelda game out there! Thank you Nintendo, for making all these great games that has a special place in my heart! I will always choose you before any other video game company. I can't thank you enough for what you have made for every one of us!

Why does every new Zelda game get released RIGHT before a new console comes out? Majora's Mask was released right before GameCube. Twilight Princess - right before Wii. Skyward Sword - right before Wii U. And now the new one will be released right before NX. At least they're putting a lot of work into them.

I loved this game on the Wii and it will be great for new players but I'm a bit disappointed in the HD remake. There isn't really a reason to buy it while my old version works. I was hoping for a full remake like the Wind Waker HD got.

I dont think they'll remake it, but I can see them doing a major upscale increase to give a more expansive look. Even in its HD form it's beautiful! 😊
Call me crazy, but this HD remake isn't worth it. Twilight Princess was on the GameCube, and the Wii. Now it's on the Wii U, but the Wii U can play Wii games. Seriously, there's ABSOLUTELY no point in this unless for the newer generation.
+Gamer Better controls, better gameplay (improved rupee management, less collecting of the tears, and a hard mode for those fans who felt twilight princess was too easy) , better graphics, and cost less than the gamecube version (which many view as the best version.)
