I am 34, and I have learnt through my life till now that you can wear whatever you feel like depending on your body type and the occasion. You have to always wear formals at work you never know whom you going to meet which may impact your future career wise stick to basic rules for example black belt black Oxford shoes etc. Wear "fun clothes" with friends. Have personal style with a pinch of latest trends and your own sensibility you have learnt throughout your life.
16-20:
clothes:
- wear whatever, embrace versatility and creativity, experiment with trends and styles, find inspiration, explore colors, learn and expand your style
hair:
- go for something longer and bolder as your hair gets worse as you age
body:
- go to the gym, become healthy and physically fit, makes you look better in clothes and is easier now than later
21-29:
clothes:
- explore casual and formal styles, invest in smart pieces, focus on fit and quality rather than quantity, dial in your style
- recommends to explore the old money style, never goes out of style (linen, polos, oxfords, etc | invest in high quality pieces here (thrifting is important))
30-40
clothes:
- dress more elevated, high quality, formal clothes, watches, fragrances, know when to dress up and when to dress down, don’t forget to step outside your comfort zone and keep experimenting, arguably the best time to fine tune your style as you most likely have more money in the bank, stay away from crazy bold outfits that make you look childish
hair:
- go for more timeless haircuts

I actually went straight to suits after I started uni, just cuz I really liked them, but I only started experimenting with different styles when I was about to turn 30 since I felt comfortable enough and actually had a full grasp of what clothes would actually fit just right.
What I still can't handle is compliments, those never feel right for some reason.

@@Cinemahguy My style group is 30's and I'm 33. I don't really wear jeans as much, a lot wardrobe chino-joggers known as off Duty Pants which you can find on Bonobos wear I do most of shopping from. As I gotta older I've learn that certain trends you must leave behind or give them a place and time went to wear these items etc.

I'm 18 now and I love wearing trench coats, leather jackets, turtle necks, and I wear a lot of boots, which makes me unique and sets me apart from all of the other guys out there!! I feel like I can pull off anything except for old money style and no-belt chinos as well as moccassins!

So I've gone for formal
Same here. Changed my entire wardrobe when I turned 30. No more Baseball caps,T shirts, shorts, hoodies, and sneakers. Strictly formal/semi formal no matter the occasion. Only wear shorts to the gym or the beach.
