If there is anyone new player like me who hasn't built Matterhorn, bring another defender (preferably low cost, since you need to redeploy them many times, making dp an issue at the end) to stall the boss. Remember that this event will get a rerun after a year or so, so if you cannot get the trim medal right now, just clear the stage normally and get it next time. (p.s. If you are having a dp issue at the last phase, just keep Myrtle instead of removing her and keep printing dp when the skill is ready)
@@Saywhatnow72 if u have quartz even at e1 lv 60 is already more than enough to tank phase 1 of the boss. Just stick her with 2 medic, and if you have good medic especially shining or nightingale,she can even tank phase 2 of the boss. And because you didnt have to swith up operator to tank the boss, ur dp problem is solves as well
@@jakadana1061 Hoshi got me through phase 1 I just needed mrtlye for phase 2 to keep the dp replenished to keep redeployment for the stall. I kept running out of dp to redeploy during phase 2 lol.
I spent almost 6 hours for this stage without borrowing support (just added challenge). Guardmiya's arts dodges clutches hard, can't wait to see it destroys my auto run one year later. Also oof at the end there o7
@@evildeadspace and my timing for her skill is kinda tight (when I can activate it). The skill has to be activated right before/at the moment the seal skill animation started. Any earlier than that, it may not last until the blast unless I have some one to help accelerate the seal break fast. There's also Lumen S2 timing that I forgot to mention--
Abyssal Hunters squad saved me here, replacing Mountain position. Also, using Horn here is possible, but you'll need extra DP and not forget to add someone to block the already fallen ember from the flying unit.
My account is already fairly built but for some reason this stage really hurt me and took me a solid 2 hrs. Ended up swapping one of the defenders to eunectes because she's a 1 block chad of a tank so shed let all the other guys pass except the boss (to go up the right lane) so i can save on DP ( and operator cds) and save gravel for more "Oh shit" moments . Did that and ran texas alt as support unit and boom cleared it in 3 tries. Once again thanks alot based Kyostin!!!!
Doing this I was like, "Yooo I actually got this? Boss is dying wow I'm so proud of myself for doing all the stages in this event without help so far. Uhh wait. Huh?? W-wait! Boss has another phase? 11/10 guide. I had Kjera stand in for Click, and used Liskarm, Gummy and Croissant for my defenders. Also, Tuye with skill 1 took your Gavials place. My first attempt mucked up when I blocked one of the souls too close to Eblana, and got Kjera knocked out for my mistake. Second attempt went much smoother, featuring Croissant's Miracle Field, Tuye's Aqua Loop and utterly nonsense RNG on Croissant's talent. I'm somewhat tempted to go out of my way for her modules if she's going pull stunts like this in the future.

Personally I put Specter normal instead of Ethan it allows me to block one of the enemies who resurrects in a loop at the end then I place units on the reeds once done I finish them
Even though I already completed the maps I love to watch how You deal with the maps. Stalling Eblana just so You can deal with the other enemies is genious
GG is godly for her S3, being able to send insane amounts of damage from a safe distance while stalling makes that last step unnecessary and a life saver when mistakes are made
at challenge mode at 18 kill, my Matterhorn die from explosion cuz his health not enough for absorb it (my Matterhorn is same skill, Lv, pot, and E2) can you do more detail at that moment please?
wow i had such a hard time like everyone else LOL honestly i didnt think i was going to do it(let alone challenge mode) but i ended up clearing both, thank you to my pozy, i defeated leader right before she went into the box 😭 it was very messy
The pain of being unable to decide which operators to funnel all my resources to so instead of having selected a few different operators for different scenarios being E2, I have most operators being E1 low level. The only defenders I built are Mudrock, Penance and Blemishine. 2 can't be used cause they can't be healed and Blemishine has a lower defense and res than normal defenders. I really hate the burning map cause I'm scrambling everywhere trying to put out the fire cause the operator I put on the fire kept dying to the global range bomber.
The general gist is go with the operators you like/necessary for your team, one by one. To act as a filter, you can also pick 1 or 2 operators within each class and focus on them.
For a new player, to be able to get to EX-8 alone is already a nice achievement. It'll serve as a good comparison when your roster finally can take on the challenge.

Right lane use amiya guard to block( cuz high res and also i cant find anyone else better than her), lumen( e2, s3m2) ,gavial(e2 s2m3) , 1 sp battery for gacial to put out fire and for her skill too And for the enemy just bare lybuse texas s3m3 cuora (all max) and bla bla bla barely look like kyo strat but using mlynar to kill eblana every time all enemy was wiped out
idk what im doing wrong but this guide doesnt seem to be really working for me and ive somehow gotten farther on my own but what keeps killing me is the trash mobs leaking past cause im too focused on eblana
@@MissTrickster if you're following Kyo's guide, you can do everything the same but replace Mon3tr as the main damage against Eblana by using Horn. When Eblana is blocked on the bottom right, before going up, you can wait until you clear all the other mobs and put Horn where Cuora is, near the blue box on the top right. Then, just retreat everyone else and catch Eblana at the T intersection before she walks down the stairs. Using Horn does not mean you don't need to use Kal'tsit because you still need to use someone to hold left lane. You can use Horn to hold the left side but you might need someone else behind her to help. And you must take S2 or S3 and it'll take forever. Horn's attack speed is slow. She needs help killing embers. I recommend Gavial, Blaze, Mudrock or Penance. I just posted a video of it with Gavial and Horn. I used 6* defenders to stall but as shown in Kyo's guide, you don't need to. It's just more manual work.
Your ideas behind the clear are great and it really helps me out cuz' I don't know how to put those fire out without my operators constantly dying. Amazing job as always, and that "huh?" at the end, lol. Edit: My bad, the way I put it made you people misunderstand me. I mean, my operators always died when Eblana set up fire all over the map and I can't keep them alive even with Mulberry S2. Welp, this doesn't work for me :'), My defender doesn't have enough HP to tank Emblana's Hit on her 2'nd form. I win it using the same strategy (Stalling Time) but adapt it using Texas Alter (Support Unit), 2 other fast redeploy and Myrtle to support the DP consumption. I dont recommend it thoo, it takes me around 1.25 Hour (1.25 hour/match, dunno how much i failed thoo, already ate all my sanity pack :v) to finish Eblana and I almost lose because all my units got wipe out by her exploding chain.
A friendly advice to any doctor planning to stun those Duplinn Flying squad Leaders with Projekt Red: Using Red's S2 "Wolfpack" does NOT remove enemy's flight. I tried this few times with same result so I'm not sure if this is indented or if it's a bug, but this was rather nasty surprise since I can't even find anyone mentioning this in GamePress wiki pages. On the other hand both Click's S2 and Texas Alter's S3 stuns seems to be working just fine, so I'm not sure why Red's S2 gets different treatment, or what other operators might face similar problem. It's somewhat shame I ended up leveling Red especially for this mission.
It's because the hoverboard guys are considered aerial enemies. Click S2, Krooster's passive, Glaucus S2, Texalter S3, and so on works because they all can target aerial enemies (with sword rain shenanigans for Texalter). Red on the other hand, can't.

If you have Eunectes, she is godsend for this stage. She with 1 healer will stall the boss forever. Since the explosion damage will not kill her.

ceobe can bypass enemy constraints by using her s2 special. she will ignore the magic bind and target the boss instead of detonating the magic bind.
