I also share my thoughts to on whether a degree is enough or not in the Accountancy profession.
I love how everytime I feel demotivated you upload a new video , thank you so much snikiwe!🥺❤️

your videos are amazing I'm currently doing CIMA straight from matric I'm about to finish operational level now I could not qualify to do my bcom at uni but watching your videos help me understand some of the differences between SAICA and CIMA ❤️
Ah well done for doing it straight from matric hun! All the very best, it’s not easy and not talked about enough. I’ll touch on it on one of my next videos.
You have any information on AGA(SA)? is it worth it? like you said different people fall out at different stages and not all see things through all the way to CA(SA). Say maybe attempted CTA, failed a number of times and just decided to complete articles but without CTA... please touch on that if you do have any insight information
Thank you so much for this video......can you please do a video explaining other professional bodies ...I'm doing a BCOM Accounting Degree that is not SAICA accredited I just want to know which route I can possibly take after completing this degree...if i don't end up doing the SAICA route
Will do.❤️🌸
How good are the other options to qualifying as an accountant on the South African market I know SAIPA is throwing a lot of professionals now and auditor general is offering those articles
Not forgetting ACCA as well. I think SAICA has a none CA one as well
Auditor general offers SAICA accredited CA(SA) articles.
I’m not sure how good all the others are but will research.
please make video on others as well☺
Will do🌸
Hi I'm in matric and interested in being a CA but I'm not doing Accounting as a subject I chose Geography instead. So may you please give me an advice whether to choose the Bcom Accounting degree or BAcc sciences degree at varsity. My maths mark is high though
For Accounting admission you need English and Maths. So you can get into the CA course without Accounting. You need to make your own decision though, I can’t advise what you should do.
Hi . Do you know if a foreigner can do their articles at one of the big 4 companies after completing studies at a south African university
Yes, international students also get training contracts at the big 4 firms.
@@SinikiweNgcobo thank you for replying.sorry to bother again, Do you know of any companies that fund international students
Hi. I want to do chartered accountant but i have a few questions please?
1. Im bad at math and failed it. But unisa lets you do accounting higher certifcate and then you can apply for degree. Will me being bad at math affect how well i do in my studies?
2. How can i find training programmes to do while im studying the degree instead of after i completed the postgraduate diplomas?
3. How hard is are the postgraduate diplomas and the 2 tests thereafter?
Thank you.
Hi there 😊
1. You being bad at math could’ve been due to how you were taught it and you might just excel or do well with the studies, you won’t know until you try and see how you do. And I also can’t limit you in that way because other people just go to university and thrive and that could be you/ your story even if you struggled in high school.
2. Try Ernst and Young and other smaller accredited training offices/ firms. Check SAICA website. They usually take you with a degree even if no honours but not sure if they’ll take you without the degree.
3. They’re challenging. Te journey is challenging hence so many people do not make it BUT that’s no reason to not try it out because my hard could be your easy and vice versa.
I’m not sure if any of this will assist but don’t gauge your abilities based on what others think of you. If you want to give it a shot, just give it a shot, you never know.
They say don’t let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.
All the best with whatever you decide.
Please do a video about SAIT tax advisors(SA) ,I've been searching topics about it here on UA-cam but it's just not there❤
I’ll look into it.
Hi sorry for being out of context could you please explain difference between accountant and charted accountant
Accountant has degree or qualification but a chartered accountant is registered with a professional body such as SAICA, usually that professional body has additional requirements to the degree and is recognised in corporate.
Also briefly explained in this video ua-cam.com/video/GjikMH0Q35Y/v-deo.html
