I can't wait to chill with my little boy, his favorite small lamp on, pick a comic book or whatever and enjoy the time he's giving me. Thank you for your uploads.
Wow I really love this music. Points Beyond and Quiet Light are so amazing. I have been listening to the original Cavestar nonstop since it premiered so it is wonderful to have some new tunes as well. These releases have become some of my favorites very quickly.
I love this album, I actually prefer it to the original. I especially love Rock Garden, you can really hear the influence of the minimalists like Terry Riley
Points Beyond is absolutely magical! This and the og Cavestar album are masterpieces, hope Kevin continues making cool stuff like this! will be supporting this artist for years!!!!
@@cavestar2008 that's extremely impressive. I am very inspired by what you made, but i feel like taking too much inspiration is stealing and it just makes me feel like i can't innovate, i'm untalented, and unoriginal, massively to the detriment of my mental health. I feel that once something is done, everything after is a copy and it's just not the same. The last thing i want is to always feel like a ripoff. Was almost everything straight ripped from your mind or was it largely inspired and combined into the tracks you made? I've been told that music is largely just recombining existing material in different ways with sprinkling of innovation and a tint of auditory flavor injected by the new composer/creator but i find it almost impossible to believe sometimes. I am very overwhelmed. Any insight you can offer? All I want is the truth, it's up to me to make myself feel better.
@@robthegobbler I think most artists feel just like you. I know I do. Don't worry about inspiration and innovation. Just make things YOU like. For you. Like Rick Rubin says, "it's just a diary entry". Everyone borrows from other artists. Cavestar 1 and 2 are filled with uncredited samples from all over the place. Don't worry-just make music. Even if you hate it at first, just keep tweaking it. Little by little, it turns into something cool. I hope that helps.
I named it that because of these apartments I lived at-Fountains In The Green, in Phoenix on Thomas Road. They had all these trees and it was like being in a little jungle.

@@cavestar2008 did you make all the tracks on the cavestar 1/2 albums? If not, do you have a list of band names?
@@robthegobbler Hi Rob. Yes, I did make all the tracks on the cavestar releases.
