In the 90s I could tell music had a lot of potential through influential value. Back then I figured it was going to save black Americans from oppression across the board, economically, politically, spiritually, etc.in some strange metaphorical esoteric way.Now rap is part of the dog pile to suppress the potential of black people abroad. Now in modern or current time the most effective white supremacists is a black American that so called keeps it real,my fault I mean keep it a buck,my bad I meant keep it a bean.

Two things, you control what influences you, however some and possibly the majority just dont grasp that because they don't critically think if they are not told to and some people are born incapable for various reasons. Two, why are people blaming black rappers...screw that all rappers for enhancing white supremacy today. Last time I checked there are plenty of rappers out in 2021 making uplifting music. Guess what their music dont get played to the masses because it is out of the musician's control. The only people to blame for this are the typically white people that make the decisions on who gets the major deal and gets to decide who goes mainstream

One dude I know would talk about how that era "We don't love them hoes" made him think like a Playa. 30 years later the guy is still single, snorts coke and reminisces of the G days Me I started listening to Alternative Rock and stayed out of trouble.

Music has always gone after our kids. By kids, I mean our 20yr olds too. Think about it, 90% of 40yr olds are not listening to JayZ’s or 50’s early music and feeling influenced to participate. It’s just a song at that point. Our kids however, are wrapped up in the emotions of how fast life is coming at them…. With that said, in most situations, they are influenced by the drum more than any of us because they’re emotionally connected to the music they chose because it’s the only thing that seems to relate to their individual struggles at the time. The drum is African, we brought it here & it’s use was to enhance emotion to invoke a greater execution of action during or after listening to it. Particularly, getting ready for WAR. We’re misusing a powerful weapon. Mu-“SICK” as in something’s infected you. Nobody’s thinking about our kids except these music execs… Now Nas-X is coming for our kids.

@@alainconstant2956 they're saying Nas X is playing into the agenda to immasculate black men, which is nothing new. The industry has always been on that, it's just enhanced now. They're going after ALL men because they need the destruction of the American middle class family in order to further their agenda. There's levels to social engineering. Gangsta rap was tied into the Crack epidemic and the privatized prison industry. There's several levels of profit, from government agencies to private corporations when it comes to selling the black community an image. Nas X is just a small piece of a whole industry that's selling a new image aimed at American boys, white and black alike. They need an effeminate population of men because they're easier to control. It's psy-op 101.

When rappers started REALLY gettin paid is when the conscious music started to die. When Public Enemy started going after DefJam for their rightful piece of the pie, artists started paying attention to the money and that, to me, is the real turning point. Rap nowadays is like going to the Roman Gladiator Stadium where the spectators are the listeners, the gladiators fighting are the rappers and producers while the Roman Emperor that decides your fate are the record labels.
I'm a white dude who listens to rap in the suburbs and to me looking and listening on the outside is what rap sounds like to me.
Now Drill Music is the new thing and the violence in America and around the world has increased because of it.
It's only going to get more dangerous in the future especially as more people grow up without both parents, live in poverty and are fed negative messages to which those will be passed down to younger generations to continue that cycle of violence.
