I've love every minute of this season, I watched this unfold on twitter, and now I get to watch it. Holy shit, thanks Chris, thanks Fusion. Give TCGS a 2nd season and I will be there for a live taping! (Seriously thanks for the realest show around, this show lifts me up and makes me feel alive!)
aw this was so good! had a feeling throughout though that they somehow know this is the end. I've been watching since the early public access days (and pseudo-followed along when it was at UCB), and I have to say this was a great note to go out on!

Ah, the New Jersey bus pushes of my youth. I remember them well. I hope that Fusion finds it in themselves to give this show a second season -- hopefully a season with less self-congratulation and more spontaneity.
Season 1 was unBEElievable!!! Despite that, season 2 should have more: 1. 360 VR camera episodes 2. Ira Glass 3. Road trips 4. Sandwich nights 5. Murf 6. AIR TIME!!!!!!! PS: Keep it Calsteady TCGS!!!
it was a good season, but the "can we get one clean" from the producer summarizes the tricky problem of this incarnation of tcgs. the voodoo magic of the original show came from the constant possibility of everything going off the rails, and chris' ability to lean into the disasters and make them great. or even just being the lone straight man in a self-constructed universe of crazy shit. the more things, going wrong the better (lookin' at dicks in the dark). pre taping and editing effectively throws that engine out. it's a strange problem, and i don't know what the fix is, but i hope there's a season two. earth needs tcgs. BLESS THIS MESS
From now on, this is what I will show people when they ask what people meant when they used to use the term hipsters and why they hated hipsters. People who are so desperate to be cool and have fun, but who can only muster up a lame performative grasp for anything cool or fun. Who are so desperate to buck the trends and defy the formula, but only to put on a lame performance of their own. Doing nothing unique or special, but saying they are the whole time.
I found out about this show way too late. This is right up my alley. These are my people! I wish this was still on.
Well, it's 2 years later than when you said that and I'm just now finding it, but yeah, feeling all those same things.
SEASON 2!!
The world needs more Chris Gethard!!
Season 2. 40 episodes. An hour long each. This is my dream.

This show has such a good opening song, fuck yeah LLC
Wow, that was absolutely fantastic! Makes me feel all the feels :)
Season 1 was incredible! I'll be really bummed if there's not a season 2.
Geth's speech at the end echoes his speech from "Episode 100: Hundo" and is still just as true.

This may be the best show on television.

Y'all got Ira Glass to say "that's googy". That's "badass".

The reveal of #SmithGate is in this episode and nobody has even noticed.

Season 2 or riot
Dru really has a thing for tomato humor, huh
At least, his character didn't die.
Chris can grow a bear now
Someone got burned for real that day. Or eaten.
Orange County NY Born
its so sad how this is how season 1 ended with them in a big celebration and season 2 ended with chris alone talking to a turtle on a bigger network
Googy, indeed.

jersey
googy
Loved the show in the past but since it got on cable, this show seems like a Christian youth ministry group.
Band ripped off "Don't Stop Believing"
