I noticed this too. My best guess she comes across low-key unkind and very entitled sitting next to Coleen, because Ritter isn’t good at hiding her saltiness about being paired up with a “mere voice talent” for the press junket. Instead she has expected herself to be put in the same boat as Jim Carrey and have fun with her real actor hero, I believe she exclusively chased this role as an opportunity to work with Jim. Nothing else. Therefore she saw this junket as a waste of her time. She’s in no proximity to real stars of the show. And such belittling mindset creates a palpably bad interaction chemistry in the room, I feel bad for Coleen in this, who is very humane and doesn’t have an ego in the way of reaching out to every soul she interacts with. I can see that in this case she felt her presence was mostly tolerated at best. Both the financial and prestige disparagement displayed towards voice actors in this industry is so unjust and stupid.
@@ThePlaysonic3 I'm just gonna chalked this up as an impression or vibe indeed, that me as a fan of her don't see (maybe blind by bias or someone who knows her pattern). Ritter sparingly do interviews because she gets anxious and anxiety is a funny thing. In her case, watching her previous interviews, you'll noticed she ends up dominating a conversation. And what I see here, especially that fan interaction question, (I'm a fan of the character first before I became a Ritter fan) Jessica Jones is dark and borderline disturbing and triggering for women. Most of her interaction with Jessica Jones convention, esp from women, are vulnerable and heavy on emotions, emphasis on heavy. That when she finished with a weird fan interaction was almost as if she's trying not to darken the mood, considering that Colleen just shared something wholesome or maybe she doesn't want to trigger her. So yeah she was never full of herself to me.
@@ashel37the vibe I got and described is based on several uploads from this press junket not specifically this one. They do them all in one sitting, right? Maybe I am projecting too much lol and this type of social unawareness indeed is, more or less, a product of anxiety. I’m not trying to come after her or find any true malice but without context it definitely left an unpleasant impression about her as a person. A few examples. During one of these I happened to watch, one time Krysten loudly interrupted when Coleen has already started answering the question directed at both of them. And other time, I saw Colleen trying to listen reflectively to Krysten to show some support to her as a speaker in few instances, but other gave no feedback or reaction in return, as if she made a point not to interact more than necessary. Polite and very forced smiles from both of them, which proves some tension
@@ThePlaysonic3 Yeah that part, maybe it is indeed tension (we don't know), I did interpret that as something about them not being close. Cause you know Ritter is on set, while Colleen is on studio, recording, and has little interaction with the cast. (unless maybe with Ben, Tika and co. which were the ones who spend more time with her character). As for the pattern that I mentioned, I meant the other interviews as well that she has done, not just this junket alone. There's not much, but the one where Ritter did an Actors on Actors with Variety with Sam Heughan, the way she dominate that conversation, gods. And no, I'm not like those crazy fans who would wage war just cause someone says something to their idol. I didn't see this as malicious, more like her being taken out of context, but I could be wrong too. Maybe she is indeed salty, (that I don't see) I don't really know her on a more personal level
Oh, I love Colleen so much! I am so happy that they have let her be the voice of Tails on the big screen for all 3 films!
Ritter gives off bad vibes like shes full of herself.
lol... did you pause for a minute before putting this comment?
