Yes, it emulates Marshall hi gain tones.
with that amp, any pedal sounds good ...
To be fair I've tried a couple that didn't.
The pedal sounded fine when it was turned off but absolutely horrid when turned on . Not my kind of thing at all. The more it was cranked the worse it sounded. There was an undertone going on that totally ruined the primary sound.

I don't like distortion pedals with single coils in general. With humbacker this pedal sounds amazing.
