What a job! Good execution being on your own, it could have went south real quick. Glad it worked out for you with no issues. Looking good for the finish now, going to be nice when done. Stay safe out there.
Just an idea but try putting a couple boards on the racks of your wheeler. Then use that to stand on instead of those wobbly pieces of wood. Great job putting it together 👍👍
Nice conclusion of my Saturday with your latest video!... ............13:47mins. later. Fantastic work. the mounting of the logs was a bit frightening though, but the result looks very aesthetic! 👌
Nice job, but I wouldn't build anymore until that leaning tree is down. No point having that fall on the finished shed when you know it is going to fall in the first storm
Ryley, job well done! Just a suggestion in structurally soundness; consider “X” out the side panels you made to keep snow load moving the structure during the winter. All the best from Alaska.
I agree. All the weight is on one side… and not the side you want it on. And that split trunk means some of the roots on the stump side might not be offering much support for the tree.
you could probably tie it to the other huge tree. use a ladder to tie it as high as possible (on the tree your falling). will definitely want to use wedges to direct it AWAY from your bridge and building project. that would be 2 disaster protections in the wedges and tree tie, plus a proper tree falling cut (which im sure you know how to do already). i think u can do it!
Man that a beautiful place. One could live a good life there 🙏.
One important thing anyone can learn by watching your videos is that patience and application wins out ... always! :)

Your rigging worked well. Nice job on the joinery of the posts and joists. It's entertaining to watch your projects.
Really enjoying watching this project 👌
The angled ends of that front log are a nice touch. Looks great.

Looks dang slick to me!
Project is looking really good. You have a good eye for detail.

Great work!! I would love to see the series "Tales of a trapline" make a return...however, I enjoy all of your videos. Keep it up and God bless!
Excellent work mate very clever and great result !
Great work!
nice job
Good working weather and good work! Cheers!
Looks fantastic, Ryley! Well done. I did something similar on my own woodshed. Worked out real well. Can't wait to see how it looks all finished up.
Great job thanks for the video
You skills with a chain saw are remarkable.
Thank you very much for showing the very nessesary wood-work skills. Truly helpful. ❤❤❤
Glad to see the progress you are making on the wood shack. Definitely understand the worry about that tree. Just be careful with that one.
Good job, well done!
Good job young man ! Yes it will be nice to have that wood covered for winter 👍Ropes straps chains they are our friends :) take care up here
You made it look easy 🇬🇧🇮🇪
Wonderful video with great craftmanship and ingenuity.
Glad we found your channel. Good stuff.
Awesome job, not easy on your own but you've done really well. Great fit and looks really straight and strong. Enjoy your videos.👍
what a sharp looking project, can't wait to see the finished woodshed.
Probably not OSHA approved but it got the job done, And a good job it was! Looking real nice.
Amazing how light the wood is, there is no way I could lift a gum tree log that size.
Nice job, but I wouldn't build anymore until that leaning tree is down. No point having that fall on the finished shed when you know it is going to fall in the first storm

tripod of smaller trees is our friend when lifting large logs. boy scout pioneering handbook is a great basic reference.
Happy weekend everyone!
Probably a smart idea to take down those two trees before it hits the new firewood shack. I don’t think you’ll regret it!
Fantastic work: But what about a ladder, DIY?
I humbly recommend that you take that leaning tree down before you build anymore. No reason to spend energy worrying about it.

С верёвкой конечно насмешил )
🙏🙏👍👍
Nice idea with the rope. I just recently did this for my cabin with 12" thick logs, 25' long. Used a cum-a-long.
