    "THIS IS NOT YOUR PRACTICE LIFE"
    POWERFUL 6 WORDS THAT ARE LIFE CHANGING!

      I completely agree! My dad has literally been teaching that statement since the 1950s.... I'm blessed to have him as a father. Thank you so much for taking time to comment. Sending you all the best and much peace!

      Dr. Christian Conte thank you sir for replying to my comment. I will have to admit, I have a tendency to forget this lesson in life. I live my life sometimes thinking, oh I have plenty of time to do this or that, I'll do this (whatever it may be) next time around. Therefore, your father is absolutely right in his wisdom of these six powerful words. Thank you for sharing them with the world as a reminder.
      Merry Christmas to you and your family!

    Bro you are like a big bad teddy bear. A rough tough cream puff. Than you for these videos - I really need them at this time. I have a lot of anger that is ruining my relationships. You're really helping but I still have a long way to go.

    I bought your book “ Walking Through Anger”. I am ready to learn. I’m reading slowly and learning so much!! In 1972 I was pregnant and sent away , then coerced into surrendering my infant son for adoption. A year later my parents asked ( more like a demand) that I take an experimental class by the social workers, called Parent Effectiveness Training, and I had no children but the baby that was taken from me. Over the years I read more books on how to listen, and I soaked it up. Recently I found a newer book called “ You’re Not Listening and Why it Matters, then I found YOUR book and absolutely LOVE it!!! Thank you for your lessons , I want to educate people on the realities of adoption, and it resonates with me, what your dad said. Learn it well enough so that I can teach. THANK YOU !!!

    Not a fan of that canned laugh towards the beginning, but I appreciate the rest of it very much. I wrote down "This is *NOT* your practice life" on a post-it note and taped it up on a cabinet where I'll see it all the time (along with four or five other quotes I've come across here and there that really speak to me). Thank you for the great advice!

    Hi sir i'm is your new subscriber,i liked your every videos but would you please don't so fast while you speeking because my English not so good its bit hard to me to understand it,,,,thank you😊

    • @ErykaSoleil
      @ErykaSoleil 6 років тому +1

      I know he seems to speak fast to you, because you're less familiar with the language. But to native English speakers, he's talking about as slowly as he can go while still making sense. I have the same trouble with watching videos in other languages, so I know it can be frustrating. If Closed Captions are available, they can help. If not, try watching a small chunk at a time over and over until it makes sense. If it helps any, the REALLY important stuff is written at the bottom of the screen. Just pause the video and copy them down (you can look up words later if you need to). Hope that helps a little, good luck!

    If you believe in God, than this is a practice life. We are here to learn, and most times, not everyone will learn the same things.

    • @ErykaSoleil
      @ErykaSoleil 6 років тому

      Well, yes and no. If you follow one of the Big Three religions, then there is more after you die; however, you still only have this one run-through here in this physical form, and the decisions you make can have an impact on how your life-after-death plays out. If you believe in reincarnation, then it is something of a practice life, but you're still supposed to learn and improve as much as possible.
