I'm no dancer but I understand why people are criticising her ... there's a certain grace and precision in all the different dancers that I've watched .... something that she seems to lack .... she's good but not on a level of the other arangetrams that I'm watching .

Thete are videos of such arrangetram performed fir show of affluence of the artist family and advertisement of the GURU.
Most regional governments simply don't care about development of thise arts except while funds are allotted and later reciprocated with requests are made for PADMA OR SIMILAR AWARDS.
OUT OF 200 ARTISTS JUST ONE OR TWO BECOME POPULAR BECAUSE OF REAL DEDICATION SUPPORTED BY FINANCIAL SCARECITY.

The camera angles are really ruining the dance presentation. They keep jumping between 3 to 4 cameras every few seconds. And there is only one camera very far, and one camera very up close. There should have been one medium distance camera that captures head to toe and just stays there. No need to jump around with multiple camera angles. There is only one dancer on the stage. One medium distance angle would have been sufficient.

My earnest request to all bharathnatyam teachers and dancers. Why can't you change the the present dance costume which hides inaesthetically, completely, the leg movements which are very graceful and symmetrical with the whole body of the performing artists? I despise the costume mainly for this. You can see our sculptures with beautiful hasthas and padacharis and design the costumes in accordance with it.

Obviously they switch off the main Audi lights when performance begins. Only stage lights are on. Maybe not high grade cameras I guess.
