- At 57-years-old, Jimmy Quinn is Britain's oldest professional jockey! But, the legendary rider will soon bid an emotional farewell as he retires at the end of the 2024 flat season.
From riding the great Frankel, to memories of weighing room fun with Lester Piggott, Quinn has pretty much seen it all.

What a great bloke! Truly loves horses and is not ashamed to show it by looking after them. Just brilliant! I hope his retirement is as happy and fulfilling for him as his riding career has so obviously been.
Absolute legend!!! Still retains all his enthusiasm for the game. Life and soul of the weighing room.Great bloke and friend.

Lester RIP Pat Eddery RIP Sir Henry RIP
A Gent! Once gave my wife and me a lift from the July Course back into town, completely unsolicited. As a rider he is a great judge of pace, just a shame he does not get on really good horses. Good luck to you Mr. Quinn!
