I really enjoy your videos and especially your manner and describing what the rocks are and what can be done with them. Nice and laid back. Thanks for your efforts. I once rocked but age got to me and its almost like being out there watching your videos. Thanks alot! Jim
Awesomeness, I thought I had watched every video.... Apparently not as they are showing up in my recommendations to watch... Have a wonderful day! Thanks for sharing your journey! Enjoyed the tag along with you today! Work or the lapidary is calling. Quest on!
Did you find out what that large smooth disc was? It was the most spectacular thing I've ever seen, in the wild. Sure seemed like it had been worked, shaped & polished somehow. Curious!
You are funny, you make me laugh, I would never have paid any attention to the irises, obviously an experienced eye. Wickedly clear water and it looked so peaceful, good tip about the gravel bar and findings, is it worth a gold test? I think you misses an arrowhead when you first started filming in the water, yellow and white at 5.23. I can see everything you are explaining with the regular gaps from napping. What do you do with your finds? I would love to speak with you.
@@QuestForDetails thanks, I actually went up there a couple weeks ago, hit up Bottle Rock Road, tons of low grade obsidian but if you go to the end of it, "Bottle" , there are tons of minerals, Jasper, etc in the slides on the side of the road. As far as the fossils, take Patrick Rd out of town. Just as you leave the Incorporated area there is a pull off where the Creek will be directly to your left. Park and start looking at the bottom of the fence, I found shells, perfect gobs of calcedony. Im in Napa today til like 4 if you want a guided tour. Im a 45 year old rock hounder with two kids and a goofy marriage. I think we're like lost brother's. Hope to hear back, B.
@@QuestForDetails a little more background, im from Petaluma, born and raised and a painting contractor that works in Napa valley. Your videos have really helped me to get into something I really enjoy. Since Dry Creek is pretty far, can you please tell me the Creek from the headless doll massacre? Do you know about the exposed vein of high grade black and brown obsidian on Silverado Trail?
Another awesome adventure! Great scenery, great rocks, great narrative! Thank you
Nice hunt... beautiful finds.
Wow! Just a lovely setting and great finds. I'm going to see if I can find more of your videos at Crystal Creek!
