Oklahoma! My mom and brother live in OKC! Visited Oklahoma a lot over the years. I will be out to visit my mom in September. Trying to avoid tornado season 😁 I love this card. Many options! Making my own panels like you did or even using preprinted card stock. Thanks! As usual your video is a hit!!!
WOW and I have a set up Sharpies in multiple colors - my mind is swirling on how to add to my cards. Makes a great quick embellishment if I do not have time to add ribbon. And I MUST have this stamp set. As a Floridian, the Hibiscus is my favorite flower. Thanks - storms are rolling in here in Raleigh as well. Be safe!
The weather must be awful where you are Connie ! Had a little rain - it's 6.p.m now and there's sunshine here. Great cards, what a difference a couple of lines and a bow can make ! Thanks for sharing.
I remember hand drawing a fine border around a card using fine-tip sharpie many moons ago. Thanks for revisiting that idea. Sometimes I get too bogged down with techniques that I need to go back to simple stamping. And you are definitely that inspiration.
I followed your tutorial and made the card, including the twine and dimensionals. I don't have the inkpad colors you used (need to get them), so instead, I used Berry Burst, Pool Party and Crushed Curry. Those colors worked great. Another great tutorial. A really fun card. Thank you.
I love this colorful card ❣You are such an inspiration. I also sometimes use sharpies to make various borders, and also outlines of the stamped images. Thank you for sharing.
By now, you probably know how much I love these Saturday simple cards as great inspiration for my classes! Well, I've been struggling for some really simple SIP designs for my new beginner class starting next Wednesday. This is an awesome idea. Thanks again, Connie!
Great technique, Connie! If you wanted to add some bling to the card, what would you suggest? I am going to try this today! UPDATE I just made this card and combined the two Now and Wow versions by using the little bow on the drawn line and popping up the front panel on dimensionals. I also added some Wink of Stella to the flowers inside and out. It's a very nice card! TFS!
Connie Stewart I haven’t bought anything yet from stamping up, I have my eye on a few things. Just have to wait till I have enough money. When I signed up to stamping up they asked me to choose a demonstrator so I just picked one in my area here in the UK.
Great cards and tip Connie! Very cheery! Hope you get the sun tomorrow!
Very nice Connie! You know, I probably have made every card you have created since I joined you! Ha! Thanks love your cards💟Wanda

So glad to see you decorate the inside of the card just a bit. I always feel the card isn’t “finished” without a little something inside
