This video couldn't have come at a better time for me. I've had a miserable golf season, I've been struggling with playing a complete round, someway midway through I'd always 'forget' how to swing a club, everything down to my grip feeling awkward and foreign... I think it's because my foundations are off. I'm incorporating this in my practice going forward. Subscribed.
Makes so much sense! Only replicating ‘feels’ can help us improve rather than trying to put the club in such and such position the backswing and other such contrived positions which can don’t feel at all natural
Really love this concept and remind myself to go back to basics things and feeling instead of keep hitting balls in rush. Hope many videos are coming like this.
@@KenyuGolf-Global nothing good comes without the challenge. for someone to truly love golf has to enjoy the challenge, embrace it. the thought process behind your video is great, im an 8 handicap and im going to totally rethink my practice routine this winter

Thanks. I always top the ball on the green but hit perfect contact in the driving range. How to really divot the swing ? Hit the ball first before grass ??
Yes! This method can definitely work with a Single Plane swing method. Starting with simple 10-30 yard shots is a great way to build the fundamentals☺ Thank you for your comment!
The secret to golf is that the club is not designed to hit a ball, it is designed to brush the grass. It is a totally different swing and impact feel. That is how the tool is designed to be used
Go up to your backswing. Stop. Now without changing the L angle of your arms and club turn only your body till the club head gets to the ball. This is how late the impact should feel.
I will follow you. You will be our Mr. Miyagi of golf. 🙏
I looked up Mr. Miyagi, and I’m truly honored! Thank you for your comment. ☺
I also follow you Mr Miyagi
hahhahah thats cool
🎉🦾🔥💫Hail Mr Miyagi of Golf!🏌️

Let’s take it one step at a time ☺ Thank you for your comment!
Going to the range to chip is wild but I admire your commitment.
Exactly. Do people in your country have access to time-based rental ranges?
This grasshopper will do as you say grand master.
Spread your wings wide and soar high! Thank you for your comment. 😊
thanks Kenyu
You have an amazing channel!!! Thank you so much as well ☺
New Sub!!! I’m trying this tomorrow at the range! I completely agree. I play my best golf when my body feels relaxed and connected.
Exactly!! Thank you so much☺
Thank you Kenyu. I also belief that the relaxed 10-30 yard shot greatly improves contact. I’ve subscribed and can’t wait for more.
Absolutely, no doubt about it! Thanks for subscribing☺

I’m so glad to hear that! I want to keep creating videos that offer insights and inspiration. Thank you so much! ☺
I would do the 10 yards at home, thank you so much for the insight
Thank you for comment☺
Love it! 10 yards shots for the mext month! Arigato
Let's practice 10 yards shots! Arigatougozaimasu☺
There is a lot of wisdom in this video. I'm going to start to use this approach when my body forgets how a swing is supposed to happen.
Let's enjoy our practice!! Thank you so much☺
There is definitely something to it, and it even helps with TEMPO and relaxing as you start to take full swings.
Absolutely! It’s also great practice to make each training session more meaningful. 😊
Nice video totally agree of starting to hit 10 yards get a feel of the club
Absolutely! Thank you for your comment. ☺
Hands are important in the golf swing as Tiger himself said it . I play and putt well when I feel my lead hand doing the takeaway .
You’ve got a great feel! ☺ Cherish that sensation ☺
This advice worked perfectly for me. played a 120 yard par 3 yesterday, was down in 12. was never in the rough, and no sand traps.
Let’s work on reducing one stroke at a time ☺ Thank you for sharing your mistakes with us ☺
@@KenyuGolf-Global What do you mean mistakes. I was following your advise, 10 yards at a time. 😁
Oh, I see! Sorry, I misunderstood!
Oh, I see! Sorry, I misunderstood!
@@KenyuGolf-Global I was joking because I like your advice, and I practiced it at the range. It is a big help.
Good points to share!!
If you notice anything, I’d be happy to hear it! Thank you for your comment 😊

Thank you! 😊 It’s a challenging path, but it leads to a truly enjoyable place!

Great video, azasu!
Kochirakoso Azasu!! Thanks for your comment☺
look forward to more videos
I’m glad! Thank you☺
@@KenyuGolf-GlobalKenyu san my issue is moving from 10 yard /half swing to ultimately full swing.
That’s a common challenge for many people. It all connects in the end! Believe in the process! ☺
Thank you 🤞it helps 👍
You’re very welcome! I’m glad to hear such kind words😊
You had me at “from Japan”
Thank you! I’ll keep sharing the Japanese Zen Mind!
There is a putt in every chip, a chip in every pitch, a pitch in every half swing and a half swing in every Full Swing!
It’s all connected!!
Subscribed! Great video. Thank you.
Thank you! 😊
i would say the the small 10 yard swing can maybe be more instinctive or almost so. i will work on it,thnx.
Let’s enjoy the process!
great video. hello from the UK
Thank you from Osaka!!
Thanks. I always top the ball on the green but hit perfect contact in the driving range. How to really divot the swing ? Hit the ball first before grass ??
Absolutely right! For a regular shot, the order should be ball first, then grass☺
@KenyuGolf-Global Yes I know. Can share any video or advice?
Incorporating tee-up shots into your practice from time to time can be really effective. I’ll post more videos soon! ☺
I found it's easier to see what is happening with the club, when practicing the little game using a wedge, then moving to the longer clubs.
You have an excellent strategy! I believe little game is absolutely essential.
Great video!very informative 🙏🏽I will be applying this to my own game🤙🏽subscriber for life 🙏🏽
I'm so happy!! Thank you for you comment☺
Can this method work with a Single Plane swing method? I like the idea of 10-30 yard simple shot to build the basics

The secret to golf is that the club is not designed to hit a ball, it is designed to brush the grass.
It is a totally different swing and impact feel.
That is how the tool is designed to be used
So that's how it's designed! 😮
I've used this for a couple of weeks, my irons have been a lot more consistent. Does this work for driver too?
Using your driver to hit 50 or 100 yards can be effective! 😊
Interesting observation, however , i would practice the 10 yards at home as it’s costly to do it in the range 😅
Absolutely(;・∀・) It’s ideal if you have a setup at home to practice! ☺️
@ I realised the key is to be and feel confident regardless of the situation and outcome
This sounds useful. But which club do you use to practise this?
I mainly use my 56° to PW. Practicing short shots from 30 to 50 yards with longer clubs is also very effective!
Where in Japan is this?
I live in Osaka(^^)/
Louisiana shuu kara arigatou
Osaka kara arigatou☺
1st and only swing thought should be. Just swing at it, don't try and hit it.. (the ball)
Exactly. But I just couldn't do it at all! 😅
Go up to your backswing. Stop. Now without changing the L angle of your arms and club turn only your body till the club head gets to the ball. This is how late the impact should feel.
Great feeling! I'll practice visualizing it every day ☺
150 score????? Bro that’s crazy lol
Yes, I was crazy... lol
Which club do you practice with?
In the video, I'm using a PW! But I sometimes make these small swings with all my clubs, not just the PW☺
This is a great idea- to practice short shots with all clubs
How are you even shooting 150 in a round?
I still remember standing in front of the ball during a round, not knowing what to do. It’s still so clear in my mind, lol.
Can you make translations available for all of your videos that are in Japanese. Otherwise they are of no help.
You could learn Japanese?
I tried it once, but ended up with subtitles on top of subtitles-it was a disaster!
You would get more likes English
And It’s pretty easy, after all.🤔
I call BS on going from the 150s to 70. Cmon now
I hope to share more with you gradually ☺
It's not an approach shot, it's a chip shot
You know what he meant.
I'm sorry, Japanese people understand "approach shot" more easily than "chip shot."
I’m sure there’s some wisdom in here but the presentation isn’t good. Get rid of the AI images and at least show yourself hitting a full shot
Alright, I’ll do a full shot again.
@@KenyuGolf-Globalno I really like the images and it’s popular now
Wow..... mind your own business and just keep moving if you have nothing nice to say. No one gives a fuxk about your dumb ass opinion
