I'm proud to see that this mom cares enough to bring awareness to this situation. everyone saying that she is doing too much would feel different if it was your daughter. Now, if Ms. Braxton hadn't opened up about this, and something dangerous happening to Tamar, then many would be saying, "why didn't her mother say something about it!"
I'm glad her mother is speaking out about this situation. We as woman hide abuse.

Something dangerous was happening according to her and she did nothing at the time. I would have respected and believed her more if she had done something then, and maybe picked up the cause publicly, even without names way back when she said it was going on. But it could be her last ditch, idgaf how my daughter feels effort.

shante johnson My sister was abused for 6 years! You can not make the person who is abused get help. We've called the cops, I was turned on while defending my sister while I was 7 months pregnant. So... you don't understand until you're in that situation.

Public shame got Evelyn Lozada out of that relationship with Chad Johnson, maybe this will work for Tamar.
Public shame can scar a person, there are better ways. I think I would hate my mother for not allowing to heal and tell my own story. I think Tamar has her mother speaking. To be honest, all the public stunt for the child placement. They have been fighting for years.
Maybe she did try other ways but failed. The thing is no one can force Tamar to leave her marriage, she has to come to that decision on her own. And it looks like she did but maybe her mama needed an insurance policy that she wouldn't reconcile with him.

I was in a situation where I didn't know how dangerous this person was until I broke up with him. He stalked me relentlessly, kidnapped me from my house, bound & gagged me, & put me in the trunk of his car. My brand new car was parked outside my house. No one knew where I was. He rode with me in that trunk for hours & hours. I knew I was going to die so I cried, prayed, and asked God to please spare my life. When he opened the trunk I was surrounded by woods & deep water. All I can say is it's a miracle I'm still alive. God is good!

I really want Tamar to speak on it but as a viewer since the beginning of their show I know ms.Evelyn not the type of woman to lie like that. however I know Tamar going through it she has to get through this 30 date tour, she's filming bfv and I know her sisters on her ass. so many ppl already saying she deserves abuse. I pray for her strength. if Tamar don't speak her truth she won't truly be free.
I am honestly surprised because in their show “Tamar & Vince “ she is painted as the crazy, off the chain, always ready to pop off one in the relationship. Vince is painted as the quiet one who has to deal with an outlandish wife. I would have never thought that Vince was physically/ mentally abusing Tamar. Wow !!!

I appreciate her speaking out on behalf of her daughter. I can relate to being in a abused relationship and I never spoke on it with any family or friends. she is trying to save her childs life and protect her life. Tamar is not going to speak on her own and with her not saying anything if she were to end up dead or terribly injured Vince would simply lie and possibly claim self defense.

I commend Evelyn for taking courage for her daughter. When we have children we feel like it’s us going through it because they’re going through it. If you’ve never been through it then you have no idea and everything that this woman said was straight truth.

Tamar is fully aware of what her mom is saying. Who do you think her son is with???? Her mom. Just because she isnt sharing her moms interviews on IG or saying anything about does not mean she doesn't know. Her mom is her backbone. And also remember this woman has seen her daughter abused over and over, relationship after relationship again. This makes T's 3rd abusive relationship and its sad because she really thought that she had finally escaped it and found the man for her. I have to be honest I always saw their shows and wondered why Vincent looked soo mad but they portrayed such love only for it to be not so lovely smh. I'm glad she has finally left and can live freely again.
I wish people would actually take the time out to watch the full interviews Ms.Evelyn has been doing, instead of the mini cut-off clips from the blogs. They'll get a better understanding, and wouldn't be so harsh & judgmental towards Tamar or Ms.E.

Talisha C I have to say you are so right. when your being abused you make up excuses for that person telling yourself that was the last time it won't happen again until it does and this time he almost kills you. Your terrified to leave your terrified to stay, pack your bags while he at work and flee the police wouldn't help me so I was scared to death everyday and night that he would find me. To God be the glory I stood my ground and never went back. I was ashamed and didn't want anyone to know what was happening I had to be here for my children so Run for your life its worth it.

Abuse is abuse..Vince should never touch Tamar at any cost..however, Tamar verbally embarrass and abuses Vince as well..This Ttanars Mother and does not want any harm done to her child...Vince has a mother as well. and I'm sure his mother shares the same sentiments as Ms Evelyn...does for her son..Tamar does and says whatever she pleases to Vince..her mouth is a volcano ready to expose...Vince is being verbally abused by Tamar and she shows it..on the show...so the abuse needs to stop on both ends especially when it involves children being able to see this abuse...

I think she's doing the right thing by speaking out to abusive women and men. I feel like Tamar is quiet about it, because maybe she is embarrassed about it. I also think she isnt saying anything, because she could get sued for defamation of character by Vince. The mom has nothing to lose, but she does.

Would you want your loving sister in Christ to get up in church and give a prayer request on your behalf to save you from your abusive husband? Would you go back to church the next week(s)? She just said if I would have called the police she would have denied it...Well we know that to be true bc of the finger biting incident...we heard the story we heard the call and what did we see them holding hands right after, her singing to him (in that clip it looked staged and she probably was forced to do it). I wasn't there and don't know them, but I can't say its not possible that it has went on over the years..I've noticed some friends have fallen by the way side along the last 3-4 years. The arguements on camera increased. And so far in this new season I can tell that the energy has shifted, and her demeanor is abrasive. After Tamar and Trina got into that argument and Trina almost went into it and Vince popped up in the background and Trina looked dead at him waiting for him to say something. So its not so far fetched and I do understand Mama E's stance at this point and I understand its not her story to tell but as much as we've seen on the show I don't think Mama E would come with this NOW for shits and giggles.
I met MAMA E at LA Airport and she is a genuinely sweet person. Love her!
