Price is from the manufacture and they usually sell to a dealer or reseller. We purchase from the dealer who usually raises the price which I don't have details on yet. REPT the manufacture is also the one who welds on the terminals or busbars depending on the dealers request. @REPT_BATTERO

These are incredible cells. Great testing and as always another great video
Those are some nice cells, at $95, a 16 cell 51.2v 16.384kwh battery is only $1520 minus BMS, case, busbars, etc. Is it just me or are LiFePO4 batteries coming down in price? 12v 100ah batteries cost me about $500 a piece a couple years ago and now they are almost half that price. I'm not sure if the economy has manufacturers reducing prices to get rid of inventory or if the cost of materials has come down. Makes me wish I had more money to spend, or a a UA-cam channel to attract some free batteries. :)
That is the manufacture price to a reseller/dealer so Im not sure how much more the reseller would charge. But YES I think they are starting to come down. I think its because more and more companies are selling bringing the price down.
You should 100% do UA-cam videos! Its free!!! (minus a camera). I started in my "spare" time after work. Slowly made videos then all of a sudden people reach out to do reviews! Not kidding, start making videos!!!

Another one of your videos that I enjoyed and appreciate. About to do 4 or 5 DIY rack style builds. These, plus case and BMS (and misc hardware) would be tons of capacity at a great price. Now, to keep an eye out for a reseller. May touch base with REPT and check options. Thanks for posting!!

It needs moar work!! Yeah $95 from the manufacture/REPT. They sell to a reseller/dealer so the cost will go up but dont have details on that.
$100kwh is the price they are quoting you Joe, but EVE has had the price between $120-150kwh for 2-3 years for A grade brand new.
Only in the last couple of months have we seen the prices go to $100Kwh or thereabouts. And again, this is wholesale price. And only the very largest buyers are going to get that price.
Another great video, do you know if these type of batteries can be mounted on their side?? or do they have to remain upright?

Not that I am aware of. They are a small Mom/Pop bms company so they dont advertise like the rest. Ive had it for years and used it in the 18650 build. Ill reuse in the LFP build...when I get some time to actually build it lol. I have lots of older vids on it.

Cant purchase direct that I have heard. I did ask them to let me know where we can purchase from if they can. I think I have heard of Global Power. Would have been a while tho. Did you find cells from them?

Yep battery arrived about three weeks ago. All working great install in 46v system with batteryhookup BMS.

No they are just the cells only. I used my own BMS.

Yes I do! May make a diy 12v portable if I can figure out a good way for the busbars😄
The real test is down to 2.5v go well lower than 50% and see the sag in the cells, and don't delete my comment please I know these cells well because I have 16s package thanks.
I could try a test at 50%SOC and see what happens. I dont delete comments but UA-cam does from time to time. Are you finding your comments being deleted or disappear?

I know what you mean as far as the voltage sag when the cells are at a lower state of charge. I built a 24 volt 840 ah battery and when it's low it will dip below 2.5 if I start a big load with it. Mostly my heat pump while the fridge and lights are on is what will bottom out the voltage

I just checked site and it works for me! SFK might be getting them. Not sure when they arrive or final price yet. Ill have a discount code for them when they up. Yes 100% on par or better then EVE Grade A and more ah. These are EV and ESS UL grade cells. 🤘

Do you forsee these cells being around a while and possibly getting cheaper? $95 seems pretty damn good price if they are 10K+ cycles and good quality. I'd want to build a 48v battery.. I imagine based on weight I'd need a forklift to move it though. Do you know if a 48v setup could use the external Victron BMS to manage/balance cells?
Yeah I had to turn off my vpn and it worked. Yeah I would imagine the cells would be around a while as they just came to market. Also remember that $95 price if from the manufacture directly....which we, the general public usually dont have access to🙄 I am pretty sure SFK is getting some and they are here in the US. The price will go up jfyi but they will also have a better warrenty ect. Lol yeah the weight will be heavy AF! Once you have it built...just leave it😆 You will be able to connect any bms you like. 🤘
@@AveRage_Joe Right on! OK.. I am building the Jehu Garcia 16s 74ah LEV60 battery kit (may have seen some of his stuff)? That sucker is about 110lbs or so.. so I figured them bigger batteries must be at least 2x that.

You see yourself as a neutral salesperson, the cells you are pushing are removing the zone that physics determined to be needed to have safe LiFeP04 cells. i know you could care less about cells off gassing into homes, please only use in a outdoor space.
The newer installation standards require batteries to be separate to living areas.

Flight Battery cases should be designed to an ultimate safety factor of 3:1 with
respect to the worst case pressure buildup for normal operations. To much time in the military and living with milspecs. The dead air space would just cause a swelling at the before the 150 psi safety blows
