Very grateful for this recording... I was finally able to hear this powerful group live with the great Ron Hemby in his best years. A privilege...!!!❤❤👏👏👏👏👏
I love this group. This was the era I started listening to The Imperials. I had gotten saved and discovered Christian music. This Year's Model always makes me happy!
I miss Armond Morales and Dave Wills but their singing stays alive in my heart and I know to all their fans and we continue to love them and their love and passion in singing for the Lord has made an impact to a lot of people.
Thank you for sharing! I've been looking for a video on these particular members of the Imperials for a long time, I wish there were more! I saw them on their "This Year's Model" tour in my early teens. Still my favorite album:)
Yes, we give glory to God for everything The Imperials has devotedly gave all their might to lift up the name of the Lord to all people to receive his Holy, Holy, Holy Name. We love you Lord for giving us The Imperials.
The mistake the Imperials made, is not replacing iconic singers and songs with different iconic singers and songs. The peak was Russ Taff and Paul Smith, after that was zero comparison. They couldn’t get it back. Bill Gaither is the master at this. He not only replaces iconic singers when they leave, but he does it in a way to showcase the new singers talents… no one should be singing The Trumpet of Jesus except Russ Taft - it’s too iconic. Everyone else pales in comparison. Im a huge Imperials fan, I’m a huge Armond Morales fan… the latest version of the classic Imperials is embarrassing to the brand.
If you turn on country radio now a days, Jimmie is on every other song that plays if not several in a row. He's the most used session bassist in Nashville for quite sometime now.

Heard every variation live from 1975 to 2000. The constant was excellent production, Armond Morales and the willingness / ability to make good music.
Thank you for posting this!👏🏾
Love that song wings of love . That song was from my childhood!
Absolutely love this line up! Ron Hemby's got an incredible voice
Jimmie Lee had a great voice too-him and Ron together were incredible!!!

The Imperials / Armond was always willing to go new directions. Listened to them from 1968 to 2005.
I Love the music ❤
Armond morales kept this organization together, but everyone was God given talents. AMEN
🇫🇮♥️♥️♥️
Que buen video. ¿Alguien sabe los nombres de los músicos que tocaron con esta formación?
Love it!!
The Imperials without Russ Taff is like the Imperials without Jake Hess. It is hard to get used to the change.
Who was talking at 6:30?
David Will
Who is the soloist in white robe?
Ron Hemby in the white trenchcoat...lol

Is it supposed to be this dark?
Who’s the bass player?
That would be Jimmie Lee Sloas, who was also the tenor at the time

Glory to god
