They really did miss a perfect chance to give a Tag Move between Sanger and Al-Van. I know we got the custom fight between them as Samurai and Knight, but imagine a final between Sanger's Dygenguar and Al-Vans Raftclans batting the enemy back and forth between their massive... swords.
Is it just me or does the OG universe have a truly dangerous number of miracle technologies and power sources running around? Black Hole Engines, T-Link Drives, Tronium Engines, Orgone Generations, Machinery Cells, Actual Fucking Magic...how long before some fucking nutcase puts a machinery-celled psychodriver in a T-Linked Tronium Engine machine with Black Hole Engine powered Orgone Engines with a frame built around the body of some unearthed mecha deity?
Neo Granzon's power potential is constantly kept in check by "We have to keep these guys alive for [insert reason here]". Neo Granzon could have destroyed Fury by itself lol
Frankly i can et why the Aliens all feel threatened by humanity. Do note that a lot of the more finnicky texh they secretly passed on was properly mastered (looking at you black hole engine) and they would definitely be threatened by that
Even his voice has a Sänger feel to it. I forgot how manly Hideo Ishikawa can sound when he feels like it. ...Though now I'm just sitting here picturing Sänger and Al-Van in a singing contest. Can't stop laughing because Kenichi Ono really isn't all that good, while Ishikawa studied opera... that would be a proverbial bloodbath.

to be fair, the gardisordians come from GC where units could barely move, while the Fury come from J where they could teleport all over the place and make giant stuff out of green crystals at least the Soulsaber turned out amazing
@Chandlier Mirage Not in The Moon Dwellers. They changed it the Raftclans are only for all the Fury pilots. So if you want it, you ONLY have it when you have Al-Van on your side.
Could be the starter unit for Touya if gtanteed is rendered inoperable for story reasons with calvina also getting a white unit that specializes in long range attacks like fu lu

I'm still kinda mad at Banpresto: The one SRW game they make an Original Generation version of and they flipping remove the Raftclans as a Starter mecha choice. I mean yeah I can make up for it somewhat by having Touya and Al-Van together in a squad but still....

There's special dialogue if Zengar is using Zankantou and Al-Van is using Orgonite Busker against him. The result oozes with manliness.

Knight of furu fits him once he's on your side. Moon knights awesome as it is is pretty much antagonistic in tone

He's playable to the end of the game. Not sure why you'd think he would die, Al-Van always joins and survives the events of J.
Playable all the way, but he joins extremely late, so you can use him for 4 stages only.

Well, there are multiple variants of Raftclans. They share mostly the same armaments but they each have a weapon that they specialize in.
