This is actually a soundrack for a japanese film. But knowing BTS they dont play around when they make music. Even if its for a car commercial, their work is always on point.
I love their Japanese tracks. The music video is a storyline based of Bangtan universe which is a fictional story of the boys which can be found on their songs, mvs, short stories and webtoons.
A theory given by an army: When Jin approaches the others, all of them are frozen except Joon. This may show how he is in a loop where he saved Joon. But as soon as he turns back all of them starts moving (including the Jin in the room) this dipicts how there is another time loop. Jin then picks up the sand timer and Kook suddenly looks at him but as Jin looks back at Kook , he suddenly turns his gaze to another sand timer placed in front of him. This means he started another time loop. Yoongi and Hoseok are mirroring each other because of shadow and ego mirrors in map of the soul. As soon as the sand timer finishes they all fade away, and destruction starts happening. The door through which Jin tries to got out shows how there is no escape for him from this time loops. This shows how if Jin is unable to save all of them either he'll be the only one standing or he have to distance himself from the others. Tae and Jin looks at each other because Tae is aware of the reality, But as soon as he reaches his hand to Jin, he fades away.
There are few theories for this song It’s a soundtrack for a movie about changing the past so it might reflect the time BTS Universe is also about time and changing the past Jin is about to go to the compulsory military so it might reflect that Lastly the title film out is about keeping the memories and over time things start to fade away and they can’t film anymore so it’s the end

If you want to get into some understanding on it, don't go to dictionary or literary comparisons, don't watch tutorials on foreign languages and its meanings. Listen to Film Out. It's a perfect melodic display of Saudade. Yours and truly, p.s. For me, Film Out is all about her, Dona Geninha, my grandmother. + 10 years of her death and I still can feel her smell and hear her voice.

If you want to try a new girl group, I'd recommend Red Velvet, a 5 person unit which came out in 2014. They sound amazing and one of them grew up in Toronto as well (Richmond Hill)! They have Red side (pop, cutesy, bright) and Velvet side (sultry, R&B and sexy). I would recommend two songs from their velvet side, Psycho and Bad Boy!
