"OH MY GAWWWWWD" lmao had me in stitches
Not much better than two buddies having a blast exploring out in the bush. I'm very jealous of your adventures. Nicely done, gentlemen.
Instant success that only took months of learning and days of hard work. Fascinating as always, Chris.
Hmmm see pretty rock
Must pick up pretty rock 😂

Always enjoyable watching you guys together
The real gem is in the discoveries...the searching, the finding, and the learning of techniques that work!!!
Hot damn! That was a fun episode and can’t wait to see a follow up.
Pirate adventures out exploring and hunting for treasures- what a great day - except for the heat. And your enthusiasm is the icing on the cake. Great video
Those are very beautiful you two are by far the best to watch especially together so much fun
Chris, your videos usually come out about midnight to 1-2 am.
I so look forward to watching you, thanks for the laughs 😁😊
In a cruel cruel world it's nice to meet people who love life as much as I do.
I wore my body out, just over 60
But I like to think of life like a bicycle ride.....
Sometimes straight down hill, others straight up!
I have lived life to the fullest and then some..
I want to slide in the grave 🪦 saying
Damn! What a ride, Children please don't try that I don't know how I lived has it not been for God! 🙏❤️🎯
Another gem of a video.
I love watching these two…
I like rocks

@vincedibona4687 yes you do! So I gave you a like lol
If the shipping wasn't ridiculous I would be sending you and Chris and gadzee Oregon agates, jasper, and petrified wood that would blow your freaking minds.

So cool! I enjoy these crystal videos too.
For the Fern Treat Fund 🤍
Very generous mate! Thank you, she will love it!
Great Job fellas!!
Cordless angle grinder with a diamond blade? That place is amazing, I would be losing my mind 💥👍
It's a pretty handy tool to have in the kit!
Your newer stuff is more refined but your original videos is what utube is all about

Very interesting thanks brother's and a few LoL too 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Good going boys. Found the spot and the technique. Well done 😁👍
It took a little bit of effort to get it right.
Tourmaline and Sapphire’s have an array of colours!
Nothing like humorous prospecting with Chris & Gadzee great video guys and that area you found all of thatTourmaline was amazing.
Wow it’s ever were quartz and tourmaline and how easy gadzy popped out out whole beautiful
Crikey, you blokes are living the dream. There is everything down in Victoria.
Too bad for me, I'm in Brisbane for another 6 weeks and the on to Asia for hopefully 6 months. 😂.
We got a little of everything here
In this moment i could have watched another hour of this
Great job boys I get excited over broken Quartz crystals when I’m out metal detecting 🤘🍻🥃MGD
🤯😢 Chris at 2:27 mins you scrapped away a beautiful little specimen in beautiful stick for would make for great example of its formation as elongated prismatic crystal structure 😢❤❤❤❤❤❤
I'm learing! Time stamp me so I can see.
@VoGusProspecting i did akhi 2:26 I typed that before I saw the beautiful ones you got at the end amazing just keep killing it bro your smashing it 💪 you got better ones at the end of the video and senor sweatpants discovered a nice way of getting them out maybe bring a pointed chisel out and hammer to precision pop those massive ones out good night from Washington deep in the old woods ❤️🍉🇵🇸
Nice camera quality 👍
Thanks! Glad you like it.
If makes you all happy that’s all that matters.
Most people problems in life is trying to make everyone happy but not them selfs .
I lived this video and seeing you all happy 🎉
A sensational site, score the schorl, Chris and Gadzee! Lovely technique, (the old gem guy on "Aussie Gem Hunters" does the same with big but ugly sapphires, whack!, with usable excellent parts within) by Gadzee to liberate the two fingers of crystal that look like a... chubby boomerang! Yes, you can share that, uncredited, please! As you say, it's quality that's rare, although there's a time for a really cashed-up Goth revival, with an emphasis on black jewellery perhaps. Eloisa, you can please her, with a chest shawl, of sparkly schorl, she'll like it, and so will you! It's a schorl thing.
We've been awaiting this storm to hit from Geelong last three hours, slow moving ones can have quite dangerous features. You stay safe, happy, and prosperising yourself and many others! 👍🥃
strange thing to notice but if you do a spoonerism on Stumpy pick you get a pumpy stick....
Mica crystals like that are also a worthy prize ...just not so easy to get home to the old mouldy in one piece
Excellent day
Thanks for sharing
Im from Canada. Just wanted you to know I watched all your shows.
Its a whole separate hobby but id love to see you tey to grind some of those down to get some gemstones
So, you guys get those long 'popped out' ones whole...fashion a silver holder w/ chain loop and they'll sell. Lots of folks like wearing crystal necklaces. Great spot you're in.
Nice cluster well done lol o,m,g!!!!!
That’s one for the collection!
You need a good chisel, hammer, and most importantly, safety glasses, and you will be away laughing.
Absolutely 💯
Gadzy is a pioneer!!! 😂😂
I may have just coughed up a lung when I saw you put that scroll near your bum hole. (sick with the flu and can't laugh or I cough violently) Yer killing me !! 😝
I found some rocks that look very similar to what you found. Is there a way to test to see if they actually are tourmaline?
Holy crap Australia in the summer is LOUD
This video was fun!!! I’m a rock hound and that would be heaven for me. 🤣
704 👍's up VGP thank you for sharing 🤗
Tourmaline is supposed to have EMF protective qualities
Gotta be careful of those Crystal people from Stargate sg1
First Trev
Oops, you made 2nd but looks like Trev is out for lunch.
The peice of free mirror is associated with feldspar. I see it every time we crush feldspar at work... I think our feldspar comes from near broken hill
That was brill🎉iant they are beautiful , are these crystals formed by volcano's.? Iam excited as well by these discoveries I know that it's not like finding a pyramid full of gold but gee wizz just picking them up from the ground is great..
Get some tools! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! Good video Chris!
It's also found on the coast in Granite. Still got good finds though.
Have you thought about crushing some of that dirty quartz for gold. Tourmaline and muscovite mica are both geological indicators for gold and other economic minerals. Also check for topaz and or fluorite.
Amethyst city too
Yeah nice 👉ascension tools🙏 I sent you an email there a couple of weeks back about crystalline and the radio patent pertaining to a trove article from 1890 when these deposits we're first found west of Warwick ?
Are the worthless lumps of schrol able to be shaped and polished up to a high luster?
That would be a value adder unless it's too hard or brittle.
Keep on keeping on 👍
Its pronounced 'Shorl', the C is silent. Same sound that shoulder clothing is pronounced: 'Shawl'.
Ah, like how in Megamind he pronounces "school" as "shool" lol
@@andyanderson2143 its named after a German location where it was common. Lots of 'C's in the German language are silent.
That's a kafiyyah with the Iraqi/syrian patterns ❤ and at 2.27 sec Chris has broke my mind by using his pick to push away a beautiful specimen of tourmaline out of the way directly into another both are perfectly intact and still in their natural form 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
But if your European it makes sense to know it as a shawl because that's what they call it odd fact also what Iran Calls it but the rest of north Africa Middle East where it's most prominent call it a kaffiyya and the hat is taqiya
The colours of the ‘’schorl species’’ of tourmaline are brownish-black to black and also the most common species of tourmaline is ‘schorl’ which may account for about 95% or more of all tourmaline found in nature (the two other species of tourmaline are ‘’dravite species’’ comes in dark yellow and the ‘’elbaite species’’ comes in red, blue, green, and colourless). The early history of this mineral shows that the name ‘schorl’ was in use prior to 1400 because a village called Zschorlau in the state of Saxony, Germany was then named ‘Schorl’ and this village had a nearby tin mine where in addition to cassiterite also ‘black tourmaline’ was found. The first description of ‘schorl’ with the name ‘schürl’ and its occurrence in various tin mines in the Ore Mountains. Up to about 1600 additional names used in the German language were ‘Schurel’, ‘Schörle’ and ‘Schurl’. Beginning in the 1700’s the name ‘Schörl’ was mainly used in the German. In English the names ‘shorl’ and ‘shirl’ were used in the 1700’s. In the 1800’s the names ‘common schorl’, schörl, ‘schorl’, and ‘iron tourmaline’ were the English words used to describe this mineral.
~Yes you are correct that this C is silent in the German language but the R is not silent in both the German language and the English language, ‘schorl’ is not pronounced ‘shawl’ like you said, but rather instead ‘schorl’ is properly pronounced as ‘shoRL’ (the exact same as in giRL, woRLd, caRL, and moRLey), which is a derivative of the original German word Zschorlau (a village in Germany where tourmaline was found).
I like. 😅
Can you dissolve the host rock around the crystals to get the tourmaline clusters out that are not in vugs? Since quartz forms from liquid, it seems unless the tourmaline forms after the quartz stops changing the void around them will usually fill in.
I was wondering that myself, it would seem that Tormaline will also dissolve.
Im not kidding around
Im from nova scotia Canada
A lot of the crystal looked crazed.
So did the dudes collecting them ...!!!! 😁
Please explain crazed sp I can learn
@@VoGusProspecting crazing is super fine cracks in the crystal caused by heat pressure and or weathering but can also happen as the crystal forms it makes the crystal brittle unless while forming it sometimes has fibrous members that keep the crystal together and sometimes it happens at points where the crystal stops growing then grows again forming what looks like a crack but it’s solid if that makes sense….
Torms city
Sup dawg
Hooray we are rich! Oh wait on🤔
22 seconds!
I've always herd schorl pronounced like shore with an 'l' at the end
I wonder if you could dissolve the quartz away from the crystal using chemicals?
I remember back when you had no imterest in crystals 😂
“Skrulls?” Like the shape shifters from the MCU? 😉
Plus I'll show u
The baby crystals go to schrol to grow up?
If look at nova scotia you will see lots of gold
Hey there guys. I just want to let you know that mean isHey there guys. I just want to let you know that the state of Maine is the tourmaline state and black tourmaline is well known in New England
Figured because your on the internet keeping vague
hammer and chisel works.but specimen keep on matrix at least a little
My wiggle? An Aussies I presume.😊
Are these metamorphic pegs? If so they wont be in pockets but rather dispursed in the quartz.
Good information! Thank you. Would I have more luck in granite?
Not necessarily but generally it's easier to remove the minerals from pockets. I've found beryl, topaz, garnet, tourmaline, and more in both. My buddy and geologist Hunter with the channel Everything is Spirit has some great content explaining better than I can here. Great video as always. Thanks for sharing.
So that's the end product ?
Heavy bags! Sweaty pits and anywhere the sun don’t shine 😂
Where's Dan Hurd with his feathers and wedges when you need him?
Right!
I can't support patreon on 2 sites Chris, I'm an 100 perA disability cent US vet with nothing VA disability...but I'll give you a 👍 bro
@jamesschank3833 thumbs up and a watch is more important mate, thanks for being part of it!
Gentle tiger 49
Pretty hardy people hear
You boys need a hammer drill, a generator to power it, and a set of feather and wedges. 😉
Yes we do
Hald a pound of that stuff for 21 bucks Canadian, which is around .35 cents American? Running out of gold?
Lol I never even thought about your real mame
OK, Gadzie's not black. I don't wanna know if he's "hard" (In fact. I'd stay away from him) but, he is beautiful.... LOL
