Its funny how he was nervous, cause it didnt matter what happened. if he forgot lines, stuttered, whatever, people would just stand there and think "what a fucking legend" no matter what.
@@patriot-dv6dh I’m glad someone besides me remembers him. He went through Hell, but personally, I’m really proud of him that he’s managed to turn his life around.,Luck yes - but Kevin Stevens is also a fighter.
I'm glad they were able to put their differences in the past because when Jagr went to the Flyers and he ditched the Penguins at the last minute that really pissed Mario off because he thought it was a done deal, and he felt embarrassed. There was a time that Mario wouldn't even signed memorabilia, that Jagr also signed. That's how pissed off and bitter he was that he chose the Flyers at the last minute over an extra $300.000
Too me Jaromir and Mario are the greatest duo of all time. I know some will immediately say “Oh 99 & so and so” but the thing is - Gretzky was not the complete package. Dude is a midget. Mario and Jaromir were just amazing - they both had the height, Jaromir especially had the build of a power forward although Mario was no weakling either & they combined it with the speed and slick stick handling of highly skilled players. I watched videos of Gretzky, but I’ve never seen two players who had the same kind of chemistry Mario and Jaromir did, the way they could read each other, the blind passes. I remember Mario talking about that himself one time. Jaromir and Mario are the players who made me a fan.
It’s actually sad because the hockey gods blessed and cursed the Pens. Blessed because they had the 2 greatest players but cursed them because they were separated for years and bankruptcy caused the team to split because If they were together, they would have won 5-6 cups easily.
6000+ points standing side by each! Insane!
In case you weren't aware, Jaromir is an anagram for Mario Jr.
God bless them both. What a gift to hockey.
Fake Mario was hus nickname 😆 🤣

0:23, Jagr covering his mouth to say something to Lemiux is such a classic move.
Even though I'm not the biggest fan of Jagr
It's awesome to see him and Mario together again
Two big Pens again together 66 and 68.
When you get older seeing old pals is like this Even if you had issues prior its all water under th bridge
Seeing those 2 together never gets old... kind of like your outro man!😂
Pretty sweet night but cmon give him ONE power play shift! Crowd would have gone nuts

You’re poor mother probably thinks the same thing every time she has to look her disappointment of a son in the face!

Not to mention Mario's health issues.
@@sikwilly45I remember Jags saying that once - that Mario had everything but his health
