The years 1985 to 2005 were the best years of boxing for me. Simply put, losers were champions and champions were legends. Evander is one of the only boxers who didn't have fights arranged for him and every fight looked like it was for the championship belt and never gave up without a fight and that's why he will remain in my heart along with some others knowingly and he is one of the few who deserves every respect...

All these greats have offered AJ there knowledge and expertise they should stop wasting the time, imagine Tyson and Holyfield in AJs corner Tyson would be all about the aggression getting in breaking the body up and uppercuts, Alexander the Great shit, then evander would come in, say that his momma told him to keep moving, work ur jab don’t get punched in the face and get em out of there, I can guarantee he wouldn’t be getting embarrassed off Usyks and Ruiz’s, no disrespect.

The only boxers to beat him were much bigger and meaner men than he was. Lewis is my all-time favourite, but no-one fought like Evander. I still remember watching him in awe in his prime. In the ring, the man was like a rubber ball had mated with a skipping rope: *bouncebouncebouncebouncebouncebounce*

I don't think he 'broke it down' at all. He barely acknowledged it. I remember when boxing was the biggest thing happening and it's so sad that it's not now. Especially, when there are so many really talented fighters like Usyk and Fury who are as good, if not better than anyone I've seen in the past, and I've been glued to the sport since the 1950s.
I think boxing is far more entertaining than MMAs any day!
