Seeing Mr. Bernard on his horse is the best thing I’ve seen for months. He has more knowledge stored up than you and the children together. Not a slam, just a fact😂. Credit given where credit is due. So awesome seeing that old boy riding horse after knee replacements.Its amazing what the medical field can do to get us back up and going again.God bless them for there studies,hard work,long hours and abilities to make mericles happen for us as we age and all through life.
I use to joke when I was a kid when I had a ache or pain in an arm or leg that I'm going to Walmart and get me a new leg or arm LOL and here I am with two new knees and a new right shoulder.

@ John Passet....Yes, Lady is a real sweetheart ! She is one happy little girl. It's probably the first time she has ever felt like she belongs to a Family. She loves her humans, that I can tell ! She is so beautiful and if you ever took notice, it looks like she smiles when looking back at Meredith when they're taking walks ! She also gets along well with all the horse's...they don't spook when she runs along side them ! 😊😊🦮

Love to see you go for a ride - 50 odd years ago I was riding through the snowy mountains of NSW Australia - pretty rugged country. Just Watching your daughter on her horse - she just seems all at home - she is going to be a fine horse woman. How better to have a great family time.

Great to see you all out on a trail ride. What great day to go riding and nice to see green grass coming up. Its suppose to rain here Tuesday and rain snow mix on Thursday. Just about got the last bay framed in. Then I will be working on the horse stalls. Have a great week and some more riding.

As now a cancer survivor my dream is to open a stable of afew horses to work with kids that are autistic and kids at risk. I know the love of animals can change a person for the better. It's just starting a non profit, and finding land and horses is the tough part

Daffodils mean early spring and planting. Lots of activity with horses and family together and especially Lawrence's horseback riding. It's wonderful to see everybody riding together.

He probably does it with both kids but, I really note how he is on it when his little girl needs/wants something. Makes me smile. I also love the quick turn to turn off the table light when recording in the kitchen. For some reason I get a kick out of that.
I have always had bad knees, so the easiest way for me to mount was from the truck bed. If I got off on the trail, it was a very hard pain to get back on the horse. My family never had it checked out, and now I get to wear braces and have surgery this summer

Most of the time I rode bareback. Unless you was going to bring some cattle down from the mountain then you would settle.💪🏽👍🏽👏🏽🙏🏽.
Sometimes wearing the belt a big wallet in your back pocket Grinch's the nerve in your back and makes it hurt. When I was driving truck in Northern California. I quit keeping my wallet in my back pocket my back was fine and it still doesn't help either. I see how message or little older I see him about his age or a little older. Really enjoyed riding with you all.
I used to write a golden Palomino named Rainbow and a white one who's crazy. That horse didn't know the meaning of stuff. Do anything I like about riding that white Palomino was when you backed up made he would rear up
Stellarzac lifter you better make sure you made him turn he wouldn't stop. And that was the owners horse.

A good gift for Lawrence would be a mounting block to keep the pressure off of his knees. I use one because, like Lawrence, I need a double knee replacement.
I think the word has a French origin for it to be spelled like that. Being pronounced fo paw and spelled faux pas is a real head scratcher to say the least.
Years ago I bought a leather tooling kit from Tandy leather that had the ability to make the designs on leather items. I went back and searched Tandy leather and was surprised to find they still have locations in my area as well as North Carolina near you. Since I’m not artistically creative I don’t use it often. I use the parts that allow me to make the physical connections. The biggest impediment to using it was a leather supply. After the closest store closed I didn’t know where to go.
Since you and Lawrence rode together bc,(before children) maybe you should sometimes surrender the camera to one of the kids so the two of you can ride side by side like old times. A way to come full circle.

I was riding with her, I was on her dads horse.. we turned at the end of pasture and all of a sudden I was holding on for dear life as I was not expecting a full run to the barn.. She laughed and said I forgot to tell you that Dad and I race to the barn...

BTW, the tomato dish you were making reminded me of something I make every couple of weeks… Dip cubed steak in flour and brown in a large skillet of small amount of hot oil. Remove from skillet and cook onions, garlic and bell pepper in the same skillet. Add back the cubed steak and add spices of choice (I use Worcestershire, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, and steak seasoning), a can of chopped tomatoes (I use the one with oregano and garlic added), and a couple cups of beef broth. Cover and simmer 2-3 hours. The cubed steak is so tender it practically melts in your mouth. Before I started using this recipe, I almost never bought cubed steak because it is such a tough cut of beef, even cubed, that it wasn’t eaten.
