Artery were a special band in those days ..more uninhibited than the rest..especially Fiddler..who continued to be special in his own way till the end..Sheffield's Syd Barret.
I came across this by pure chance earlier tonight; better than finding the proverbial pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. In my opinion, Artery were the creme de la creme of the post punk bands, destined for cult status from their inception. Far too manic to be remotely popular. I've spent a good while trying to put a name to the unknown track starting at 20.21 that rang bells... and I've tracked it down. It's 'Potential Silence' . I'm at a complete loss for identification of the residual unknown songs (at 8.33 and 17.17). I don't recognise them. God bless Artery.
Brilliant. My band, the FCS, played Weston Park Festival in 1987. Saddly, no footage, as far as I know.
