Brilliant the best one on the album, people ridicule the middle years however their are a lot of hidden gem for example strange charm is surprisingly a very strong album
"My Breathing," "The Sleeproom" and "New Thing From London Town (12" Version)" especially. I'll admit I'm a little biased toward the middle period; _Metal Rhythm_ was the first Numan album I ever owned back in high school.
JamesPolymer tbh I also like metal rhythm their are like 8 good worth a listen track on it, and even outland has a few strong songs like outland and my world storm
IMO most of Numan's middle albums weren't bad, just inconsistent compared to what he'd done before. The problem with starting out so strong is that everything you do from that point on tends to be judged in comparison; Meatloaf had the same problem after _Bat Out Of Hell._ Fans still go crazy whenever Numan plays songs like "Berserker," "Call Out the Dogs," and "My Breathing" on tour.
Gorgeous Gary I want to come and see you next year I hope it's possible babe love you so so much my gorgeous gothic rock god love you for eternal. .stays safe xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Backing tracks plus his voice on top would result in over modulation and gross distortion. Gary does not mime or lip synch, he is real with performances but all bands having backing tracks and when he did original recordings had multiple track overlays of his voice recorded, abit like Phil Spector and the wall of sound. So live he has to hold the mic away otherwise it would not sound right.
@@DModekiwi Exactly right. When I saw the 80s tours I would be near the mixing desk which had two open reel 2-track machines for those songs needing playback - but the band played live to a click. No miming.
Proof that even during his 'low sales' days, he was still Genius.
Definitely a hidden gem! Awesome track!

Grande Gary👍🖤
Uma das melhores do Gary!
I love this performance you can tell he's having so much fun performing here.
Great to see Ade Orange on stage actually playing keyboards. Shame he was treated so badly by the Numan camp.
Another Great Song!!
Classic Numan. Nobody else does this.
God You are Pure Ecstacy!!!!!
❤❤❤❤🔥🔥🔥
merci ;-)
Numan always laughs when he sings "I like your screams" and everyone in the crowd screams. Never fails.
VOIX = VOICE-OF-INVINCIBILITY-XRATED. 🇮🇪
it just means voice in french ya tater mucher
Stay safe babe xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
So is he lip syncing or something here? Just something about the way it sounds compared to how the mic is held against his face seems off
A good load of compression plus in-ear-monitors helps a lot to avoid feedback and modulate volume at constant level.. I do those tricks myself live.
