Hi everyone! This is a personal challenge I had. I wanted to see if I was able to recreate the Hero Shade and do a little test animation with it. It's so hard to believe that we actually got to witness the Link from TP meeting the Link from OoT in an official Zelda game. It's so bizarre yet so great. Anyway, great animation!
The Hero's Shade deserves a game of his own (excluding Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, of course.) Imagine playing as a badass Stalfos-Link in the Lost Woods, exploring a never-ending forest that changes over millennia; a hero condemned to wander in the brush as the ages roll by, forced to bear witness to a world which he brought peace - yet he, himself, can neither partake nor intervene. There's a ROM hack/fan game idea in there somewhere.
This is amazing! I love how prominent the ghostly aura that makes up parts of his body is and how the shading looks, the model itself looks extremely well done and gives me all the chills in the best way possible. (Still blows my mind that that's the same Link we went on two adventures with both involving him being a child), I bet this was a challenge to create but as always you never disappoint.
Okay. This is amazing. I love this little clip. I know it was just a test to see it, but the fact that he’s wandering around in darkness is super atmospheric. I imagine that IS the Hero of Time’s existence between his death and the arrival of the Hero of Twilight. Just this endless wandering in shadow, a shell of who he was, desperately longing for purpose and meaning. That darkness then finally ends with the Hero of Twilight arriving like a golden light. We see the Hero’s Shade as a golden wolf, imagine how the Hero of Twilight appears to him after years of darkness like this. *chills* Awesome work!
This is incredible! It absolutely yanked at my heartstrings, especially when I saw Navi floating alongside him. 😭 The animation is beautiful. I don’t know the first thing about what it takes to make something like this, but I’m so glad you did it and that you decided to share your hard work with us!
I must admit I did not expect this at all but as usual you tend to surprise us all and its a wonderful surprise. Also I can't wait for the next Zelda Oot environment, I know its gonna be really cool!
The only Zelda design that can honestly be mistaken for a Mortal Kombat character. I was originally going to say "Nintendo character" but then I remembered Pious Augustus from Enternal Darkness.

There is something sad yet beautiful about a wandering spirit which time has forgotten and the sole reason of why Zelda has 3 timelines being able to reconcile and move on by helping at least one of his descendants take back their timeline.
Dude this is so cool I love the colors and pun not intended but shades you used on the armor. But what I like most is the ethereal body you used the color and movement on that are * chefs kiss* aso good . Grate job on the hole thing it's amazing
The chain mail sound is so close to "perfect" for me. You are just missing a little higher sounding clink at the end of each step. So beautiful though! I would never be able to do anything like this, so take what I said as me just yelling into the void.
I think everyone is definitely going to love it. Does this mean you will be remastering Twilight Princess in the future sometime?!? 😆 Don't let me, get my hopes up 😭
Amazing work as always. As much as I love seeing the next gen concepts, do you know when and if you will finish Hyrule's Downfall Chapter 2? That was something that I was really looking forward to.
Maybe this will be used in that upcoming redub of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess that Zelda Universe will probably do in the year of 2026, even after when it might come out on the Nintendo Switch.
@@RwanLink I dont know when it will be released but sky and water will be supported then. If you havent tried pathtracer before you might want to give it a try, I did recently and it feels like another world. (but not sure how anime style things would look)

It did happen in the TP manga and Zelda has come to grips with the memories she had from another timeline.
I agree It's the first and onpy time two Link's have interacted with eachother. Well unless you count wolf Link which I doubt

@@RwanLink path tracer is veryvery slow but insane quality, when you have time you could try pathtrace 1 image to see the result
