Madelaine's screams have always mesmerized me in shows or movies.
I think everyone is forgetting there are 3 chapters here this one is just the beginning so if it is the first one all over again who cares there will still be two more to come in the same year 2024

Kinda pumped tbh. If it does well at the box office, we will see part 2 & 3 in theaters. If it flops, lionsgate will release them all on Netflix (they release most of their films on Netflix)

If a 5 to 10 million dollar Opening weekend is good then yeah
@thedarknate0845 considering they made all 3 parts for around $20 mil i say yes thats a good opening.

@thedarknate0845 well, remember 20 mil for all 3 films. So even if the first one doesnt hit 20 or gets close, they will most likely end up breaking even no matter what.
I am Sure The Strangers Chapter 1 will do great at The Box Office and I hope Their will be a Unrated Version on DVD with Both Versions and I hope it has more Scenes in The Unrated Version and I hope Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 are Released in Theaters and are Released on DVD too

Am the only one who is so exhausted by movies today? Deadpool 3, The Strangers: Chapter 1, etc. All new movies is coming but I literally don't care. It's nothing new and original. And everyone is so hyped like it's the 1st time they ever seen these movies even tho they have seen the earlier sequels. If a new Harry Potter movie would come out for example, I would be like: whatever. You see what i'm trying to say? Everything is: MEH for me. Anyone else?
Totally get what your coming from - I try to go see as many films as I can but I don’t get super excited anymore. Maybe thats my fault being over indulgent with going to the cinema but iv been doing it for about 20 years and I used to get super pumped to see a lot of films. Don’t get the same feelings anymore - last time I was super duper excited to see a film was probably The Force Awakens

Is "The Strangers: Chapter 1" a prequel to the original 2008 movie "The Strangers" or a prequel to "The Strangers: Prey At Night" 2018 movie? Thank you in advance

@Alexandra-ew3ep quite weird that there are three prequel movies and the original 2008 movie and the three killers have managed to stay alive until the ending of "The Strangers: Prey At Night". This means that the characters at the 2024 prequel movies fail to eliminate even just one of the three killers
@@miladymilladewinterjovovic7120 that’s a really good question… maybe Prey at nigt doesn’t exist in their timeline like they did with Halloween 2018 being a direct sequel to the 1978’s one ignoring the second in 1980… a lot of fans suspect that Madalaine’s character will take one of the killers place…
@Alexandra-ew3ep Strange twist when a victim becomes a killer. But if one or two of the trio killers die, maybe other people can replace them. Just hoping that the prequel trilogy is worth buying the cinema tickets as compared to the recent subpar horror movies

It's too bad they couldn't just take the idea, but shake up the script a bit. It appears to be identical as the 2008 flick! We all know how that story goes
2008 Strangers> anything else. It had soo much potential to work on their story of, her not being “ready for marriage” and they should have made the movie a little bit longer .. to work on that. Story is almost everything.. and if they were to re-imagine .. work on that.
Huge fan of the original, and I have no idea why this new trilogy needs to exist. The first one was terrifying, but this looks clean, polished and well-lit, more like a CW TV show. And these actors really aren’t helping either. I’d hate to be a hater, but I’d be surprised if this does well.
