Love the video but can you move the camera to the bottom middle in the future it just looks more clean (I wanna see the ranks when they are in the right side) but great video!! Can’t wait for episode 2
I’m new to SF6 and cancelling is still something I have a hard time executing, you should do a training tutorial to show the features of the mode and what they mean (like what the action timing window is and how to use it) I know I would find that super helpful!
Anything beyond some basic canceling, such as a crouching medium kick into a special or a jab into super, will be character specific. It takes time to learn all that. Search for videos on the character you want to main for more examples. But imo learning the basics of fighting games, this ones mechanics, your toons archetype, your normals, and some bread and butter combos are where it’s best to start. You’ll get into cancels naturally as you keep playing.
@@circle_it I agree, learning basic BNB is helpful, but some of those require cancels and again, the Training Mode has tools that can help people understand more! I just want someone to visually explain what is means when the character is red/blue when the cancel timing tool is on in training mode. I just want a Demonstration do the tools that SF6 has to help people learn!
@@josephmccarty9090 blue is “positive advantage” and red is “negative advantage.” If its a blue 3F it means the enemy has 3 frames where they cant do anything and you can. I believe most jabs are 3 frames which means you can jab after whatever you were just doing and if the enemy pushed a button they will get hit. If you have a red 3F it means YOU have 3 frames where you’re not allowed to do anything including block, which means if the enemy hits a fast enough button you’ll be hit. If you’re talking about the boxes around your characters as you press buttons those are hit boxes and hurt boxes. The red ones are “active” hit boxes. If the red box around your fist touches the enemies hurt box (the blue/green box around them) that means the attack connects. Your bread and butters that require cancels will be easy to do. You might not even know you’re canceling honestly. I didnt when I first started playing fighting games. Have you picked a character you want to learn the game with? I can try pointing you towards someone who can give you more info. Nephew is fantastic but his unranked to masters videos assume you have some idea of how to play fighting games which isn’t what you’re looking for I think?
@@circle_it that’s not correct sadly. With cancel timing, when the character turns Red it shows that the current move is cancellable into a Special Move but if the character turns blue, it shows that the current move can be cancelled into a Super or specific special move. This is why I wanted the guy who’s really good to explain this but thanks for trying!
@@josephmccarty9090 We’re not talking about the same thing. You’re talking about what the colors mean within the frame data meter. Why not make the video yourself explaining it?

@tanzolo4487 Nah. Highest I got what Gold 5. I stopped playing in a while. My struggle was noob mistakes.
