I REALLY gained a lot of respect for El Estepario Siberiano after hearing these songs with his band. His drumming serves the song so well. I really like this tune... well done all around.
I hate that this has become the "intellectual" comment on drum videos. All drummers should always "play for the song". This is true when you play a Tina Turner cover band. Not when your claim to fame is literally your drum style and you get to write your own songs. The fact that this type of comment has made its way on VIDEOS SPECIFIICALLY MADE TO HIGHLIGHT DRUMMERS, is just mind boggling. Yes, any instrument should serve a song, but this song doesn't serve the drummer. If I had heard this track blindly, I 1) wouldn't have known it was him. And 2) would have skipped passed without a second look. It is bland and generic. And that is such a missed opportunity. Plenty of bands with interesting drum parts that are still great songs. Additionally, plenty of drums that don't "fit" the song that are iconic precisely because of that (looking at you Phill Collins). If you want boring and bland music, then telling drummers to play nice on every single video is the best way to do it.

When i first heard this song on XM, i couldn't believe what i was hearing.. It definitely brings me back.. like I'm re living my middle school years of listening to Taproot and Thrice all over again.. The melody is killer, and I love that late 90s vibe!

Actually a good song. Love it when UA-cam personalities are entertaining - but also full with talent and know what they are doing. And here no one shows off just to show off but they do what serves the song. Nice! Good riffs, nice sounds as well. LOVE that you can hear the bass clearly. Very well mixed … :-)
One more thing ! This song deserves to be huge! It's got the modern lows and I love when they do the odd timing but it still sounds good . Idk I didn't know I needed to hear this band but I guess I did because it's one my favs already
