Brilliant. I liked all the seasons of Falcon Crest. The last one had hints of the supernatural - seemed to foreshadow the Twin Peaks era. Incredible show.
There is only one angela channing, In S5, upon Richard gaining gaining 1/3 of Falcon Crest Greg asked Angela what does she have against Chase N Angela replied "He's just another greedy relative, where was he when i had to guide Falcon Crest through prohibition, while i was making hard decisions, While i headed Falcon Crest during a time that men believed women shld be barefoot a pregnant, He never gave Falcon Crest a 2nd thought until he learned the empire i 've build n i suppose just hand him over 50% that he has done nothing to earn."

The major difference between Alexis and Angela was, most of the time Alexis used sex to get what she wanted, That's how she inherited ColbyCo. Angela was a master mind manipulator. She was always more strategic. Alexis was petty.
I never understood why they killed off Maggie, because Lauren was a Maggie clone from the get go. The show could have had Maggie and Richard slowly work there way back together instead.
I keep forgetting that Kristian Alfonso was on Falcon Crest. She’s so identified as Hope on DOOL that I forget. That said, I can’t recall from interview's and such if she has good memories of being on the show or not?! She sort of joined the show after it was really big but did do a few seasons.
These people get what they deserve. There's never an honest sign that Angela is going to relax for even a moment; and then they're surprised, for the 59th time, that Angela was always steps ahead. If she's nice to you, she doesn't mean it. Why do these people not know that by now? (Emma knows.)
All of her posthumous new relatives appeared later on the show. I did not get Melissa Agretti's Aunts sister role on the show that NYPD Blues detective.
“Pilar Ortega” is such a ridiculous name for a character the writers are so desperately trying to make everyone realize is Mexican. “Um, what’s a good Mexican name? Lupe? Juanita? PIlar? And for the last name, well, here is a box of Ortega tacos, so let’s use Ortega” It’s as bad as Grandma Hebrewberg, Lois’ Jewish grandmother, on Family Guy.
Yes. Richard got tired of dealing with her machinations to sabotage his management of Falcon Crest. He decided to cut a deal with her. He would sell Falcon Crest back to her and in exchange she would agree to leave 50 percent to his children after her death. Lance demanded a guarantee that her will would give him the other 50 percent, saying he would leave if she didn't agree. Angela accepted both of their demands, and it was all written up by a lawyer and signed. The lawyer warned them that it could lead to problems down the line, to which Angela responded, "so what else is new?"
Hard to believe the only original characters left by this point from the beginning was Richard, Angela, Lance and Emma. Everyone else....DEAD or gone from the valley. Oh and can’t forget Chao-Li....lol
To me, killing off Melissa was the biggest mistake they did. To replace her with Kristian Alfonso who was "similar", just completely uninteresting. Last season was horrible, especially after Emma left, I did like Genele though.
I am currently at Season 5 or 6, where Julia is still in prison and Richard Channing is learning of the control of the "cartel". Oh Good Grief! Everything that can happen to people has already happened. What more can happen? Oh yeah, Maggie dying, Chase dying, I hear. This show was TOO EXAGGERATED! EVERY WEEK, THE SKY FALLS HERE.
Made absolutely NO sense that she would leave Falcon Crest to Emma......And a woman as savvy as Angela Channing it wld have made more sense that she would have Falcon Crest moved into an irrevocable trust and run by admin in the event she would become incapacitated.
I love my Falcon Crest it was so much better then Dallas or Dynasty if you wanted cut throat, Joan Collins could held a candle to Jane Wyman's Angela Channing! Is the anywhere you can watch full episodes of FC?
It is kind of forgot that Jane Wyman was not on the air so much so we didn't see much about Angela Channing but unfortunately TGIF will never be the same !🍷
I enjoyed every last drop of Falcon Crest!
Mr Rusty so did I. All backstabbing bastards.

Season 9 went down the trash horribly.
Brilliant. I liked all the seasons of Falcon Crest. The last one had hints of the supernatural - seemed to foreshadow the Twin Peaks era. Incredible show.
She makes Alexis look like mother Theresa
she makes jr look like father flanagan. lol jr could learn a thing or too from angela
They softened up Angela in season 8, But I love how they returned her back to her extremely manipulative ways during the last season of the show .
I love "Falcon Crest."
If you didn't know the Dallas storyline, one could believe that Angela Channing was JR Ewing's real mother.

It's hard to imagine that this brilliant nest of back-stabbers was also from the same mind that created The Waltons.. (The Great Earl Hamner)
Richard had absolutely ZERO chemistry with Lauren. The writers had clearly checked out for this 9th season.

I would give anything for a Falcon Crest reboot.
A good Reboot!
I don’t know. Hollywood screwed up the reboot of Dynasty.
that would be good but i'm not sure that would make it they tried to reboot dallas and it didn't work.
To be honest, i still get anxiety attacks when i remember how they killed off Maggie. I still remember it that pool scene.

Dallas and Dynasty never used synth pop soundtrack but Falcon Crest did. 👍🏻
BoraBoraSharkBoy it was really amazing!
Falcon Crest's soundtrack was best in the 1986-88 era; composer Mark Snow & his synths had a lot to do with that.

It sure looks like she does. One would think they'd take a little money out of the clothing budget and get her a decent 'do.

The last season was horrible! The downfall started in season 8. At least they ended the show with some class in the last episode.
Killing Melissa ended the series. It’s also the reason they couldn’t do a continuation show like Dallas.
