  • On a railfanning trip out east, me and Rail Vision decided to see what railfanning the CNO&TP was like. Although it wasn't as many trains as we hoped, it was made up with wonderful scenery from towering bridges to a tunnel. Enjoy the video and stay tuned for more railfanning and drone content!
EDIT: The trains at 1:18 and 2:17 are in South Fork, KY, not Kings Mountain, KY
Thanks to Mark Harvey for the songs!

Groovy job! Those are some neat areas especially the Kings Mountain and Burnside KY bridges.

Thanks! When I was there it seemed like there was about 30 - 45 trains per day so the action was pretty good. NS seems to fleet trains on this line though, there was numerous times we saw 2 to 5 trains in a hour then nothing for the next two hours, then another rush afterwards. The traffic certainly could have been reduced a bit though due to the virus, but I'd imagine the action still would be pretty good

TheRailfan4life it’s PSR, they run most all of the 25 trains a day at night, then they run some until 11 and they usually start back up at 4/5. These times are based off of Harriman

The bridge with 215 is actually South Fork, not Kings Mountain but excellent video!
