All my life I have tried to grow my nails, no luck, then ages ago I saw a video you did about these nail files, I bought one, a Mont Bleu and I have had long nails ever since with rarely a breakage, so thank you so much xoxoxo
Nailtiques has been my savior for about a year now! I use the formula 2+ because the formula 2 isn't quite strong enough for my "excessive problem nails", lol! I had acrylic nails for about 12 straight years because my natural nails would never grow beyond my fingertips and would split, peel, or crack before they even had the chance to grow. My natural nails were sooooo thin (genetically and also from years of acrylics) but thanks to Nailtiques Formula 2+, they are SOOOOO much healthier and I can care for them myself instead of going to the salon to get them sanded and filled every two weeks!!! 😊 Also, I began taking 15,000mcg of Biotin every day...which helps them grow super fast along with Nailtiques! 💕Kelly💕
I've watched this video so many times, and I never told you that you have the most beautiful nails, the shape the length are just perfect! Thanks so much for sharing.
pinksofoxy pinksofoxxyI love Nailtiques for all nail types but especially bitten, weak or peeling nails. Your the only YT guru I've heard talk about that brand. I've turned so many people onto it and I swear by it. Loved the video as well. Also love ALL ur DIY's. Plz keep them comin.
Loved your video! I just did my manicure and I always top my Figi with OPI Princesses Rule! It is very fine picky gold glitter .... Adds a beautiful look to it!
You have such pretty hands & nails! The pale pink is my favorite too-so pretty & feminine. It's important to keep well manicured nails because everyone notices your hands.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. Nailtiques is great. My nail are strong and growing out like they have never done before. I am so excited about my nails. Thanks again.
Thanks for the updated video!! Do you have any suggestions for nail ridges? Ive heard buffers can be damaging, so I wanted to know what you've learned.
Sooo glad you did this video, I needed it!! I have had good nails until recently, now I'm having problems with staining and peeling so this was perfect....thank you!
I'm an avid nails produts user, I've been initiate at a very young age to care about my hands and nails, so let me tell you that I appreciate very much the videos you put outhere that concern that subject. You are my absolute prefered one Christine. In the last year I bought almost everything you mentionned on your last nail care video, the slight difference would be the about the nail polish, yours as we all know is Zoya, but mine is OPI. Thanks for that video and hope that the one about the summer colors is out soon xox
I have had really good luck with Essie polishes lately since I started using their top coat as well. Loving my Essie 'Turquoise & Caicos' as well as Sally Hansen's Complete Manicure in 'Get Juiced'. Christine, I am wearing your favourite colours this Spring, so who knew?! Have a great week, and thanks for the tips, Sherrey in Southern Ontario
I watched your video and went straight on Amazon and ordered the nail protein base. My nails split and break, can't ever get them to grow, hope this product will help. Your nails are amazing.
Enjoyed this video a lot! How you explained it and also demonstrated. Your nails are so pretty! I just trimmed mine since I dislike it when my nails stab my palms when I hold them in a fist form. Fiji is such a gorgeous colour! I think I'm going to need to pick that up. I've avoided it from reviews. I probably need to pick up another glass/crystal file too. They were so lovely to work with on my nails before. I don't know why I stopped. My favourite top coat is actually Essie's Good To Go. Dries fast and lasts longer than Seche Vite does before it goes goopy. Doesn't make my nails chip faster or peel and darken my nail polish. :)
I just love all your tutorials. I like the pink Essie nail polish your applying, can you please share the exact color. I would like to see if I can find that color for myself. Thank you for sharing.
my name is Markéta, loving your channel, loving your DIY-tips and organising ideas. ♥♥♥♥.... ♥♥.. thank you for the tip for whitening nails, I use baking soda as an exfoliater, I just put about a half of the tea-spoon into the face-cleaner, I got this tip from Wayne Goss here on youtube. I have been born in the Czech republic, czech is my mother tongue and I reside here as well, but I had no clue that such a good quality nail-files are made here.... I used to use some glass nail-files but they didn´t last very long, the surface rubbed off very quickly, so now I use metalic nail-files.
Thankyou so much for sharing this, lots of very useful info. I will have to try this as my nails are in a very bad condition and just wont grow long, they keep chipping, breaking etc. so thankyou again xx
Love your videos! I always learn something new! Love the tip on how you brighten & whiten your nails...and best of all they are products you have in your house! Thanks! xo
Watched your vids for a while for the travel vlogs and noticed how nice your hands are..now im sucked into watching how to do DIY projects ...now how to have nice fingernails lol Youre a pleasure to listen to :) Great videos x
I was SO excited to see your new nail care routine! Although not much has changed...but I was wandering....do you not use the Nutranail nail growth serum anymore?
so glad u did an updated nail care video,i loved ur last one and i've found nailtiques formula 2 because of u and i can't say enough good things about it,my nails were horrible before using it(thin peeling)and now my nails are so long and super strong,i use a crystal nail file(acid blasted)by leighton denny and its amazing it comes with a lifetime guarentee so will never dull,u have really beautiful nails btw hugs x
Hi Christine I just love all your fun videos but this question is for your necklaces are those you sell? I would love to have those if you do sell them let me know what there called so I can look them up. Thank you!!
Actually threw my Fiji out pretty quick. My nails never looked worse than with that polish. Love the Seche Vite, look but my polishes flake off after a day or two. Your nails look amazing.
Thanks for all the great tips! I'm currently using Seche Retain as a base coat but I don't find that it does anything for me and I have a huge problem with peeling nails. I'm gona try the Nailtiques once I finish my bottle of Retain :)
Your hair looks great! I need to try a glass nail file…thanks for the info. Yes, Essie has beautiful colors but the formula does seem to be so random, which is so irritating. Love Fiji!
Well this is exciting!!! I purchased Essie Fiji the other day and put my first coat on my toe nails. Had a difficult time however that was just the first coat, I always use a base coat and well I'm so hoping that the second coat goes on better. I absolutely love the color. I just watched your declutter video where you got rid of Essie due to not being cruelty free. Please share if you have found anything anywhere close to this in another brand. Thanks :)
This video is making me want to do my nails.. and I haven't painted them in years lol. I'm terrible with nail/hand care, but I do find Ultra3 nail polish to be a good steal from time to time - Cheap and great pigmentation!
Thanks for all the suggestions! I have used Nailtiques formula 2, and I love that stuff. The peeling completely stopped. The only down side is if you use it non stop, it will cause your nails to be too hard to the point of being easily broken. (at least that was my experience) I usually use it for about a month and then take a couple weeks off. Just a random question. Why is it you don't keep all your nails the same length? Very often you have a very short thumb nail on one hand and super long on the other. You don't find that detracting from the whole look? When nails are the same length, it gives a very clean, classy look to your hands. I am not criticizing, obviously we can all do what we want :) Just a question.
TY for the info on the glass files, I looked them up before when you mentioned them, I got one finally. You also introduced me to Seche Vite and Zoya rofl
I have trouble with a lot of pale shades and getting them to be opaque. I even the matte top coat from Essie as another YTer recommended to put one coat of polish, one of the matte top coat and then another of the polish. I still have issues. Ugh!! Yours always look gorgeous!
Christine the nailtiques formula 2+ is also very good and Dermatologist recommended !My nails suck and both formulas work great .2+ works for extremlely crumby nails and makes them super hard .
I have brittle soft nails too from cleaning and cooking but is there another base coat Besides the one you have so I can use for my nails to stay strong. I've tried the ones in drugstore and it's ok but not great. Thank you
Quick question Christine, where did you purchase your nail file? Love you videos you are so down to earth and actually what got me hooked on you tube. Thanks a million. Keep up the awesome videos.
I was wondering about the Nutra Nails as well. Is this something you no longer use and why? Thanks so much Christine! I just love watching your videos, you and Michael are so cute together.
For the Essie one that is crap you can pour some nail polish remover in it shake all the time before use. It works for me! I personally don't like the brand Essie but that might help!
Would love to know how long u allow the polish to dry between coats or whether u just paint the next coat as uve finished all of your nails? I sometimes end up with bubbles and can only assume its to do with the drying process.
I'm curious too--some people wait until it's tacky, some until it's dry, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, immediately....What works best?!!? Thanks for a great video, Christine!
I feel like essie products are really hit or miss. I have some that I love and some that are nearly impossible to work with! I wonder what the deal is with that.
I heard essie used different products for nail polish that was made at different times\colours and different of the preserve. it feels weird saying my own nail. once before my friend was looking at nail polish and people wouldn't stop saying Essie and I was like what who wants me. aha xx
How do you get your polish to dry and set after you paint your nails? The polish will usually feel dry after a good 15 or 30 minutes of letting them air, but then some of the polish will smudge after hitting the nail against something or from it just rubbing against another finger. It drives me crazy!
All my life I have tried to grow my nails, no luck, then ages ago I saw a video you did about these nail files, I bought one, a Mont Bleu and I have had long nails ever since with rarely a breakage, so thank you so much xoxoxo
I tried her website address and it doesn’t work, trying to find one of those nail files but not sure which one is the real deal

For streaky formulas, try adding a matte top coat between polish coats. It really seems to do the trick :)

Omg I love your nails! They actually kind of remind me of my own, when I wear them long. :)
