How about the cost factor...!!! I needed only 3 way couplers and not 4 way besides they're not cost effective.... Leg extension is required for increasing the ground clearance... DIY enthusiasts can modify it according to their needs....😊
Good demo.Iam also a terrace gardener in Hyderabad. I have purchased 3 5feet long stands from Rajahmundry on line from asulplier @ Rs 700/ from a supplier.
Thank you... It's a DIY concept and I made it for my own use... I can check it out with your plumber who might be able to help you out... By the way where are you from...
The length of the pipe would depend upon the size of the stand you wish to make... Minimum 4" - 6" Maximum 12" depending upon the bottom size of the pot that would be placed on the stand.
I have used 1" PVC pipes and fittings. The length would depend on the bottom size of the pot which would be resting on the stand and it may range from 9" to 12" each. 👍
The size of the pipes would depend on the size of the bottom of the pot which would be resting on the stand and it may range from 9" to 12" each. All the best.. 👍
Good suggestion... However it may not be successful since fixing the castor wheels on to the PVC pipes may be a cumbersome process and it might reduce the static load bearing capacity of the stand...🤔😊
Two queries 1. The 5 & 10 cm bush is cut from the same pvc pipe where 12" have been cut or is it with different circumference? 2. Is "coupling" with bigger circumference than the bush?
1. The 5 & 10 cm bushes are cut from the same 1" pipe only and they will fit into the T connectors perfectly. 2. The inner circumference of the couplings used as shoe and the outer circumference of the 1" pipe are same and will fit perfectly. 3. The inner circumference of the T connector or L bend or Coupling will be of the size of the outer circumference of the pipe always. Hope this clarifies your queries...👍
Thank you... Cost would depend on the quality of the pipe we would be using... I used heavy duty pipes and thus each stand would cost around INR 200... All these materials can be procured from any Hardware Store... 👍

@@gunaslenspeaks6795 bottom coupling is not required I feel. We can save some cost. Also pasting is not required hence the items can br modified easily for future modification.
Try it on a flat surface first without pasting... Then you can go in for pasting... Watch from 1.16 mts to 1.25 mts and from 5.15 mts to 6.00 mts to have a better execution... 👍
No carpenter also can do stands doesn't mean he knows only carpeting job. My driver knows multiple work like driving electrical carpeting housing paintings etc etc very clever guy

You could have used 4 way couplers for corners. Why extension for legs?

1" pipe - 1" coupling 👍
What type of PVC you are using
Normal standard PVC pipe as they are more rigid and cheaper comparatively. Neither CPVC nor UPVC as they are more flexible and costly. 👍
