    Thank you, my exact same Porter Cable charger isnt working, wish you had shown what a capacitor is and also the points you were checking

      I will find the charger and get more in depth on the repair I did. I do apologize for that 😂 I’m a lot better at content making now than I was then!

    I've got 1 that charges just fine but it has an annoying high pitched squeal. Thoughts on that?

      Could be a leaking capacitor, or one of the components in the RCL filter circuitry is causing it to squeal. I’ve never had on that squeals myself but I’d like to try and find that fault. Sounds like I could learn some stuff with an oscilloscope on that issue.

    Just bought one from good will… worked like it said until it quit ten seconds later….fuckers lol.
    Two of the three batteries worked. Opened one it was definitely dead so no harm from trying just a daisy chain battery pack. The charger though, I’ll still mess with because he’ll the capacitors were much bigger in my diy hvac repair this spring. The older I get the less sketched I get. I still am cautious though. I was using a dollar store multimeter at first but I thought better @220v lol might wanna not be a dipshit so I bought a decent one from menards(yuppie store but they carry more odds and ends than lowes and Home Depot by me

      Got her working so impact drill, drill and charger with 2 working batteries for 30 bucks isn’t terrible

    hello, how to convert 110v to 220v?

    • @lonewolftech
      @lonewolftech  2 роки тому

      We talking AC, or DC? If you're looking to just step 110vac to 220vac you need a step up transformer, if you're needing ploy phase 220 you need two different phases together they'll read 220vac, to ground they'll each read 110vac. This is This is standard residential voltages in the US.
