- I nearly ended up doing a contract for free! I took too much on and ended up having to eat some humble pie. We bought a contracting business, without ever seeing it, and already that's starting to feel like a bad idea. but first, we've got to find our feet and try and generate some work.

I’m glad you did a series from a contract perspective. When starting a new map I usually approach it from a contract standpoint at first. I then move on to farming. I’m interested to see the difference senecios you come up with. Thanks once again FSG.

at about the 15 min mark when u checked the oat harvesting contract you had a baling contract that you hadn't collected the money for, just a friendly heads up! yet another great episode. Looking forward to Surviving Wyoming (after the crash) but really enjoying this series!!!!!!!

I've noticed that the lighting on several map is an improvement on the first maps. Loving the series.
There's also a mod that lets you pick a lighting from a map you like and use that on all maps. Can't remember the name of it now.
Relight is a cool mod but with court farms Oxygen David has done his own custom lighting which is awesome
@TheFarmSimGuy are you using any shaders? If so is it possible to get the preset?

Thanks Fraser, glad you are enjoying it. I’m using Courseplay to drive the combine it’s a PC only mod but light years ahead of the in game helpers

I’ve been a FS player for years and years although on console and only on to PC for FS19 which I still play pretty vanilla with only a few minor mods. This is impressive looking. I must add I’m 6 episodes in to this series having only started this afternoon, excellent content!

HI FSG. One question. Did you do your xml gate hack in this game? The first gate you went through suggests not because there's a post & rail fence at right angles to the gate, so opening to 130 degrees would have caused a nasty collision.
I think I'd recorded this episode before the XML edit vid. The hack is OK, but some of the gates will pass through other things now if it's sitting right next to anything. it's not a long term solution , but it helps for now

I know this is a year ago, I’m new to the series. But how did you manage to get the AI workers to go around the field? Useally they just go up and down and nothing more, but yours did even go around that pole. Was that a mod or something? Just wondering.

Is it possible to connect the other trailer on your farm to the trailer you are using now? Then you would have a little better capacity
I don’t think there’s a rear hitch on it, but zero chance I’d get through any gates with two trailers attached

All the fields on my Court Farm except 3 (one I replaced the grass with oats) are all grass. Wonder if the Start In Spring mod messed that up.
Yes I’d bet a lot of money that’s the issue, start a new save without it and I bet all is fine
I stopped using it myself, really wish it worked better, I'd really prefer starting in the spring. Everything about seasons in fs22 is a step backwards from the mod in fs19.

It’s all done in the edit, there’s no function to talk to people in the game unfortunately
